Christmas gift ideas

It’s nearly Christmas already but if, like me,  you’re still looking for gift inspiration here are a few ideas which I think would make great presents.

For your memories

Photobox will give your digital photos a whole new lease of life. The online service will print them on canvas or as posters to hang on the wall, as photobooks, phone cases, key rings, personalised calendars and a host of other lovely things. They also sell gift vouchers. The last day to order for guaranteed Christmas delivery is Thursday 12th December.

For travelling beauties

Beauty travel sets like these from John Lewis are fab for when you want to fly with hand luggage only. These mini beauty products are just what you need to meet the airlines’ restrictions on liquids. Current cost: from £10.00.

For bookworms

Dorling Kindersley has brought out a new range of travel guides for 2014 which are packed with useful information and great photos. DK sent me the Italy and London guides to review and I love them. There are also 2014 guides for Berlin, Ireland, New York City, Paris, Prague, San Francisco, Rome and Washington D.C. Current cost: from £10.34.

For social media addicts

When I travelled to the Costa Brava with a group of  bloggers this year I wondered how Kirstie Pelling of The Family Adventure Project kept her phone battery running for so long. The answer? A portable Duracell mobile phone charger. Genius: I want one. Current cost: £24.99.

For organisers

I was sent a beautiful personal planner by personal-planner.co.uk after this year’s BritMums Live conference. I uploaded my own photos and chose the design I wanted and was really pleased with the result. Currrent cost: from £17.90 for a planner gift card.

For players

As soon as kids can read, Bananagrams is a brilliant game to take travelling. It’s an addictive word game consisting of a bunch of letters in a small bag and we always take it on holiday. Current cost: £10.91.

For the person who has everything

Adopt a turtle with the Marine Conservation Society – marine turtles are endangered and need all the help they can get. Current cost: from £31.00 for one year’s adoption.

Charity Just a Drop says nearly one billion people don’t have access to clean, safe water. They say £10 can give 10 children the gift of water this Christmas. To buy this gift click here.

Disclaimer

I’ve chosen to suggest these gift ideas because I like them. Photobox is giving me some wall art to review.

I’d love to get a photobook, we hardly ever print off photos so it sounds like a fab idea 🙂

I’d like to get one too but our broadband speed is so slow I’d never have time to upload the photos.

I’d love one too but our Brosdband speed is far too slow to do one.

What lovely ideas. We used a mobile phone charger this summer and it was amazing. I also like the look of the beauty travel set – just need some exotic holiday to use it now.

Those chargers are great. If I don’t have one for Christmas I may have to invest in one.

I only told my husband yesterday that I need one of those phone charger things – great list, especially as it covers me 🙂

I could certainly do with a mobile phone travel charger! I am online so much it really drains my battery fast!
