P&O Ferries have launched a useful new website called Mini Cruise Max to help you make the most of trips to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Bruges and Ostend. The site has hundreds of recommendations for things to do and places to eat and allows you to make your own travel guide based on your interests. This video explains how it works:
I went to Amsterdam last year with my youngest and we had a great time. My favourite place was the Anne Frank Museum but my son preferred the Ajax Arena. I’ve not been to Rotterdam, Bruges or Ostend but would love to go. I checked out the new website and it was interesting to see what came up. When I asked for cultural, eclectic places in Rotterdam I was presented with a page of links to some relevant, well-written articles such as one about the Maritiem Museum Rotterdam and another about the Kunstahl exhibition space, both by Lonely Planet. Some of the links are just to Instagram photos and while I prefer to have something to read as well as an image I guess photos are also useful as a way of showing you what’s on offer in a place you haven’t been to. The website is definitely worth checking out if you’re planning to visit any of the cities it covers.
To coincide with the launch of the new website, P&O are running a weekly competition on their Facebook page to win a mini cruise. It’s easy to enter – you just have to say which of the mini cruise destinations a particular photo on the page is of. Good luck!
