Holiday snaps: Winter Park, Florida

I took this photo from a boat on Lake Osceola on a sweltering August day in Florida. I was on a Scenic Boat Tour in a lovely town called Winter Park. I was on holiday with my husband and children and we were spending most of our time at the various Disney theme parks. Winter Park was a popular winter resort in the 1900s and many of the elegant mansions built then are still there today. This boat tour and our day at Winter Park were very relaxed and an excellent antidote to the busy theme parks.
