Stickyscapes London & Paris

Stickyscapes London & Paris

 Stickyscapes

This month sees the publication of two beautiful new sticker books for children. Stickyscapes: London by Robert Samuel Hanson and Stickyscapes: Paris by Malika Favre are published by Laurence King. Each book contains 100 re-usable stickers and a double-sided concertina cityscape to stick them on and I have two copies of each book to give away to Mums do travel readers.

Stickyscapes: London

The stickers in this book are beautifully drawn and feature icons such as Nelson’s Column and the Queen as well as unexpected images such as an urban fox and a punk boy and girl. On the back of the sticker pages there’s some text explaining who or what the stickers represent. (My son was very pleased to see that there’s even a sticker of an Arsenal supporter.) The large pull-out cityscape shows real and present day London on one side and imaginary and historical London on the other.

The Paris book is as quirky and fun as the London one. Pablo Picasso, Marie Antoinette and the Three Musketeers are amongst the stickers featured and the pull-out cityscapes feature real and present-day Paris on one side and imaginary and historical Paris on the other.

The books would be great for children to learn about London and Paris in a gentle, fun way. They’re the sort of books that children will return to again and again and they’d be good to take along when travelling too.

How to enter

Laurence King Publishing will send a copy of Stickyscapes: London and a copy of  Stickyscapes: Paris to two Mums do travel readers. If you’d like to win these books then enter via the Rafflecopter widget below: good luck!

These books look like the sort of thing I’d enjoy playing with as much as the children. I’ve just entered – fingers crossed!

Easy peasy. I already follow you everywhere (on social media) not like a stalker 🙂 My kids would love the sticker books and they will have to negotiate between them as to who gets which book. I bet my son wants London for the Arsenal player.
