Italian Dolomites: the lowdown

My latest family travel interview is with Marianne Weekes. Marianne is a leading UK parent blogger – her website is called Mari’s World. She’s also the editor of the BritMums website. Marianne lives in the UK with her husband and six year-old twin daughters but previously lived in village called Folgaria in the North of Italy for many years. Folgaria is in the Italian Dolomites close to Austria, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. I went to meet Marianne to find out what it’s like to visit Folgaria and the surrounding area with children in tow.

This is what she told me:

If you’d like to find out more about the Trentino region you can visit the Trentino Tourism Official Website or you can contact Marianne via her website Mari’s World.

To see more of my family travel interviews then check these out:

Home exchange holidays: the lowdown – an interview with Kelly Innes.

Neilson sailing holidays: the lowdown – an interview with Anne Dickins.

Caravanning holidays: the lowdown – an interview with Marianne Weekes.

Uruguay: the lowdown – an interview with Sarah Gibbins.

What would you like my next family travel interview to be about? Do let me know if there’s anything in particular which you’d like me to find out about.

Great idea – sometimes when wading through lengthy info pieces it can be time consuming and difficult to engage with the details, an interview is a great idea!
