Do you love talking about travel and sharing your family travel experiences? Are you looking for family travel tips and inspiration? If so then you need to join us on Tuesday evenings (during term time) on Twitter from 8pm until 9pm (UK time) for #FamilyTravelHour.
Each week for #FamilyTravelHour we’ll focus on a different subject, from favourite destinations to packing tips to future travel plans. If there’s something which you think we should cover then do let us know by tweeting any of us and including #FamilyTravelHour in your tweet – we’d love to hear from you.
The #FamilyTravelHour hosts are Kirstie Pelling of The Family Adventure Project (@familyonabike), Imogen Hall of Lonely Planet Kids (@lpkids), Nichola West of Globalmouse Travels (@globalmouse1), Cathy Winston of Mummy Travels (@Mummytravels), Ting Dalton of My Travel Monkey (@my_travelmonkey) and me (@grettaschifano). Each week one of us will be the lead host.
How to join in
During the hour the lead host will post a series of questions relating to the topic, for example:
Q1: Which new destinations did you explore with the family this summer? #FamilyTravelHour
If you’d like to reply, start your answer with A1 (or A2, A3 etc) and include the hashtag, for example:
A1: We went to Emilia-Romagna in Italy and it was fab #FamilyTravelHour
Otherwise just join in with the conversation, ask questions and get involved but remember to include #FamilyTravelHour in your Tweets so that everyone taking part can see what you’re saying.
If you have a topic suggestion, please do let us know – we’re always open to ideas and it’s great to have your input.
The next #FamilyTravelHour is on Tuesday January 16th, 2018, and the topic is Why travel with kids? – we hope that you can join us!
