I’d planned to create this language printable before our summer trip to Portugal, but I was waylaid by passport renewal stress (read The one where I forget to renew my son’s passport, and you’ll understand). Anyway, I met Marisa Mouta from the Porto Tourism Board at the World Travel Market in London, and she helped with the language and pronunciation for this Portuguese language printable (thank you Marisa).
Portuguese language printable
This printable follows the same format and includes the same ten words and phrases as my other language sheets. The only thing to note is that if you thank someone in Portuguese, you need to use a different word depending on whether you’re male or female. It doesn’t matter who you’re talking to (Marisa tells me), but if you’re female you say obrigada, and if you’re male, obrigado. Got it?
