In February I took part in the sponsored Team Honk relay for Sport Relief. I scooted across London in a Sport Relief onesie with 24 other bloggers as we tried to cover as much of the Monopoly board as we could in one day. The whole relay took ten weeks and followed a 3,000 mile route from Land’s End to John O’Groats as the Team Honk baton was passed from blogger to blogger. To date we’ve raised more than £30,000 for Sport Relief. (If you’d like to donate any amount you still can here).
Weeks later I received a Monopoly set through the post from Hasbro, the game’s manufacturers. There was no note with the parcel, but I guess they must have been pleased that we’d been playing a kind of live version of their game through the streets of London and that this was their way of saying thank you. Anyway, we already have both Monopoly and Junior Monopoly in our house so we don’t need the new set, lovely as it is. So I’m giving it away. If you’d like a chance to win this brand new, still-in-its-cellophane, suitable for age 8+ Monopoly set then you can enter via the Rafflecopter widget below.
