Visiting Spain’s Costa Brava was a revelation. It’s a beautiful area in the North of Spain on the Mediterranean coast. I took this photo in the characterful town of Cadaqués, inspiration for artists such as Salvador Dalí who had a summer house here. I was with my daughter and a small group of other family bloggers on a trip organised by the local tourist office. It was an amazing trip and we had a great time in Cadaqués taking part in an Instagram day and getting to know some of the friendly locals – this is definitely an area I’d like to return to.

The sea looks really nice but the beach not so much.

It’s just such a lovely place though, a really interesting town to wander around.
