We stayed at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort for a couple of nights when we were travelling around Sicily in 2014. The resort is part of the Rocco Forte group and its style is one of understated luxury. It was actually too windy to go in the sea while we were there but we all enjoyed swimming in the 60-metre long pool which is right next to the beach. A year later the kids still remember Verdura as their highlight of our Sicily trip. You can read about why Verdura is great for families here,
