Planning a trip to Albania and wondering how to make the most of a day exploring its stunning coastline and charming towns? This private tour offers a comprehensive look at some of the country’s most celebrated spots, from shimmering beaches to natural wonders, all with the comfort of a guided experience.
What really draws us to this kind of trip are two things: firstly, the customized nature of a private experience, allowing flexibility and a more personal touch. Secondly, the diverse highlights—from the dramatic Blue Eye spring to lively Saranda and idyllic Ksamil islands—that promise a well-rounded taste of Albania’s coast.
One thing to keep in mind is the long duration—around 8 hours of driving, sightseeing, and walking—which might be a challenge if you prefer slower-paced days or travel with very young children. Still, for those who enjoy a full-day adventure and want to see multiple sights without the hassle of planning logistics, this tour is an excellent fit.
Demfry is a very good tour guide , he is very nice and pleasant, he is so passionate about his country and was so happy sharing the history with us. He is do patient and took good care of us all on the trip. I totally enjoyed my self and look forward to another trip with the company
Blue eye was very good and the boat ride at Ksamil loved it.
Beni was an exceptional guide. We went to some of the most beautiful places- namely Sarande and Kamala. Beautiful beaches and amazing food. We never had to worry about being left, because he always made sure we were all accounted for. He had a nice touch by including some historical facts during the drive, which gave us an amazing picture of the country. I really loved this excursion and it was definitely worth it.

The Itinerary Breakdown
Starting point and early morning pickup gives you the chance to settle in and prepare for a day filled with stunning views. The first leg of the trip involves roughly two hours of travel to Saranda. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating snippets about Albanian culture and the region’s history, making the drive more engaging.
In Saranda, you get to explore a lively town famous for its waterfront and local eateries. Some tours include a visit to the UNESCO-listed Butrint ruins, but this is optional and dependent on your timing and interest. The city itself offers a vibrant atmosphere with shops, cafes, and a chance to soak up coastal energy.
Next, it’s time for Ksamil, often called the jewel of Albanian beaches. Here, you’ll have around two hours to swim, sunbathe, and take photos. The island hopping boat tours are optional but highly recommended if you want to explore the small islands and snorkel in the clear waters. Reviewers consistently describe Ksamil as a place that surpasses expectations—pictures just don’t do it justice.
Finally, Blue Eye—one of Albania’s most iconic natural attractions—takes center stage. The striking spring, with its cold, crystal-clear waters gushing from the ground, offers perfect photo opportunities and a refreshing break from the heat. Your guide will walk you through the area, sharing insights about its unique geology and natural beauty. Expect about an hour here, including some time to walk around and take in the view.
We really enjoyed ourselves on this trip. Orgest was a great guide with a lot of interesting information about the history of the places we visited. He mentioned at the start of the day there was an issue with another bus which is why it ended up being a larger group, more pickups, longer times on the bus. It’s a shame some people took their frustration out on Orgest and the driver at the end of the night because of traffic delays. Not to mention some of the people complaining most were never on time for the bus departing each place we visited. You made our first trip in Albania really memorable, best of luck, Amber &Jess 😊
A beautiful day tour – photos do no justice of Albania’s natural beauty. It’s a VERY early start (we had selected 7am pick up time but it was actually 5am!) and we arrived back at 11pm- a long day but totally worth it. If you have limited time in Albania this day tour will cover what most people will take 2 days to do. You’re given a good amount of time at each place, stop offs for bathroom and coffee are ample. There’s a charging port for phones at the front of the coach only fyi. Our tour guide was great, honest and informative.
Well organised tour with many options of free time, everyone could decide what they wanted to do based on personal preferences. We had plenty of stops during the journey to grab a food. Guide made sure we won't miss out on beautiful spots and opportunities for good pictures. Despite the fact we had a big group of people, Guide always made sure nobody would stay behind. Ksami Island was a beautiful destination, as well as Blue Eye, an amazing place to walk around surrounded by nature. It was a long journey from Tirana, but definitely, the view was worth it. We had so much fun and highly recommending this trip!
