When it comes to exploring Alanya’s stunning coastline, a pirate-themed boat tour offers a fun and relaxed way to see the sights from the water. While I haven’t personally taken this exact trip, the reviews and info paint a pretty inviting picture. It’s a popular choice for those wanting a lively day on the sea, with plenty of opportunities to swim, enjoy good food, and dance the afternoon away.
What really catches our eye are two standout features: the variety of scenic stops—including caves and beaches—and the inclusive lunch and unlimited drinks. Plus, the foam party and music onboard seem to add a playful vibe that many find memorable. On the flip side, a possible consideration is the focus on extra sales of souvenirs or photos, which some travelers might find a bit pushy.
This tour is well-suited for anyone craving a lively, social experience—families, groups of friends, or couples looking for a fun day out. If you like the idea of a relaxed cruise with a bit of adventure, it’s worth considering.
honestly we loved this activity. the crew are not pushy with sales. they do sell ice cream for €5 Cornetto or €10 big melon with 5 scoops. beers /cocktail are extra. there is henna and also picture. the pictures do look nice and the do deals for around €50 but you get a fold out album and two framed pictures. the boats music is not too load and dinner was chicken, rice and salad. all was lovely. the foam party was brilliant and we were even a witness to an engagement. toilets were clean. I would really recommend this tour. I have so many beautiful pictures. thank you to the amazing team and capt xxxxxx
Excellent value for money, in fact, it was too cheap for the experience you get. Staff were all lovely and chatty. The Boat was amazing, the sights when out at sea…. Obviously amazing, safety when everyone was out in the water I can’t fault, lunch was delicious and fresh, as well as fast efficient service. Staff deserve a round of applause for the job they do every day. Every member had their job and clearly took pride in it which is a great thing to see.

Setting Sail: What to Expect from the Pirate Boat Tour

This tour is designed to blend sightseeing, fun, and relaxation in a way that many travelers find appealing. Starting with a hotel pickup, you’ll be taken to Alanya Harbor where a massive, comfortably equipped pirate-themed boat awaits. The vessel is large enough to ensure a stable ride, reducing the chance of seasickness, which is a plus if you’re sensitive to motion.
Once aboard, the crew greets you in costume, setting the playful tone right away. The boat features panoramic decks and shaded lounge areas—great for soaking up the views or catching some sun. The cruise itself is about 5 to 6 hours, which is just enough time to enjoy the highlights without feeling rushed.

The Itinerary Breakdown
The journey covers several notable stops, each offering something special. The Pirate Cave, for example, is a quick swim stop where you can dip into the clear waters—about 20 minutes. This cave is part of the adventure, with its dark tunnels and hidden charm.
The Phosphorus Cave is another highlight, providing a chance to swim and relax for roughly 20 minutes, making it great for photos and cooling off after the boat ride.
Next, the boat visits Kleopatra Beach, famed for its beauty and often a good spot to snap some pictures. Here, you might spot dolphins, and the stop lasts around 30 minutes—enough time for a swim, some photos, or simply lounging in the sun.
One of the more extensive stops is at Emirgan Ulas Mesire Yeri, a scenic area where you’ll enjoy a local lunch, take photos, and have a bit of free time to explore. This stop is about 70 minutes long, giving you a good break and a taste of local flavors.
Maybe if they didn't push so much on drinks, ice cream, chips, boat rides and photo albums, it would have been an even better experience for me. There was a bar, everyone could go in for whatever they wanted and they could ask about boats, tattoos etc. once and not have to go there every 10 minutes. Otherwise it was great.
pick up time was not what was advertised and no communication beforehand
The staff was great the vibes was good and the food was filling. I would definitely recommend
The cruise continues with visits to the Mediterranean region’s scenic spots, where you can swim and take in the views of Alanya from the sea. The Alanya Castle is also visible from the boat, providing breathtaking vistas and a chance to appreciate the historic landscape.
Onboard Entertainment & Food
As you cruise, you'll love the lively music and foam party, which many reviews describe as a highlight. The atmosphere is a mix of family-friendly fun and party vibes, with dance and laughter filling the air.

Some reviews also mention the availability of local alcoholic drinks, which are not included but can be purchased onboard.
The Vibe and Group Size
The boat is spacious and never overcrowded, making for a comfortable experience. The crew is described as knowledgeable and friendly, and the music isn’t too loud, which makes engaging with others easier. Many reviews emphasize the friendly crew, who are attentive and helpful throughout the day.

Considerations & Potential Downsides

While most reviews are positive, a few points are worth mentioning. Some travelers note that sales pitches for souvenirs and photo packages can feel a bit pushy. If you're not interested, you might find the constant offers a minor nuisance.
Plus, the photos and souvenirs are sold as packages, with some reviews mentioning that you may need to buy a full set rather than just individual pictures. If you’re only interested in the experience, this might be an unnecessary expense.
The timing of pickups might sometimes vary, as noted in one review, so it's wise to confirm your pickup details ahead of time. The tour’s focus on lively entertainment and party atmospheres may not appeal to those seeking a quieter, more relaxed experience.
