Don'tbe fooled by the word "family". It just means, that the buggies fit 4 ppl. And they go-go😍 Speed, drifts, dust, magnificent scenery. This was shitloads of fun, loved it. Small groups. Mike is a legend! Thank you, would love to do this again!
We were disappointed because the excursion was only driving. We thought we were going to stop and see the chipmunks like we have before in Fuerteventura, but we did not stop to do so. The tour guide was not happy because we stopped a few times for issues like needing jackets on, move the children etc. He was getting frustrated with us and told us next time we need the longer tour. I think they should state wear jackets and warm clothing before because it is freezing. We went as a family with young mid and teenage children.
On the flip side, some reviews point out that the experience can feel more rally-style than relaxed, and you might not learn as much as you’d hope if you’re after a detailed commentary. So, if you’re a history buff or looking for a calm sightseeing ride, this might not be the best fit.
All in all, this tour tends to suit adventure-seekers, families, or anyone who wants a quick, fun way to see Fuerteventura’s wild side. Just keep in mind that if comfort and in-depth knowledge are your priorities, you might want to explore other options or prepare for a slightly rugged ride.

The Experience in Detail

When we looked into this Buggy 4 Pazas Corralejo tour, the first thing that stands out is its setting. The starting point is conveniently located at C. la Ballena, 10, where you'll meet your guide and get ready for the adventure. The experience involves driving through rugged, dusty terrain—think volcanic landscapes, sandy paths, and scenic viewpoints that highlight Fuerteventura’s natural beauty.
The itinerary is straightforward: after a safety briefing and getting familiar with your automatic transmission buggy, you'll set off on a guided tour lasting approximately two hours. The route includes two main stops, giving you a chance to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The guide's role is to facilitate a safe drive, share stories about the island, and point out interesting sights along the way.
What’s especially appealing is the opportunity to feel the thrill of the ride. You’ll be navigating dusty roads and uneven terrain, which might make you feel more like rally racing than a relaxed sightseeing tour. For some, this is part of the fun; for others looking for a more relaxed experience, it could feel a bit rushed.
One reviewer mentioned that the convoy’s speed and dust clouds made it hard to really take in the views, especially for slower travelers or those wanting to absorb the scenery.
The views are definitely a highlight. Expect to see volcanic craters, open landscapes, and perhaps a glimpse of Corralejo’s beaches from afar. The guide may point out cultural sites and share tidbits about the island’s history, but don’t expect a deep cultural commentary.
That said, the friendly guides do a good job of making everyone feel comfortable, with some reviewers praising their knowledge and approachability.
The dust masks are a small but notable detail—costing an extra 5 euros—that some found a bit inconvenient, especially since the guides didn’t share much commentary during the drive. One reviewer expressed disappointment that the tour lacked substantial insights and was more rally-style, which could be a downside if you're hoping for an educational experience.
Group size is limited to private groups, which generally means a more personalized experience. Since the buggy seats four people, families or small groups can enjoy it together. This setup helps keep the drive more intimate and manageable, but it also means the experience might feel a bit crowded if your group is large.

What You’ll Get and What It Costs

Included in the tour are buggy rental with automatic transmission, a professional guide, and a safety briefing. You’ll need to bring your driver’s license and sunscreen—both vital for this outdoor adventure. Weather-wise, sunny days are the norm, so proper sun protection is a must.
Pricing isn’t explicitly detailed here, but considering the reviews, you might find that the experience offers good value for money if you’re excited about off-road driving and scenic views. However, some travelers felt the novelty and the guide’s storytelling didn’t quite match the price they paid, especially when compared to more in-depth or leisurely options.
The tour’s flexibility is a plus—cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund—and you can reserve now and pay later, which makes it easier to plan your trip without immediate commitment.
Who Will Love This Tour?

However, if you prefer a more relaxed, educational, or comfort-focused experience, or if you’re traveling with very young children or elderly travelers, this might not be the best choice. The rally-style driving and minimal commentary may not appeal to everyone.
