Ferenc our guide was absolutely fantastic at showing us how to traverse the gorge safely from the ancient stairs to the waterfalls as it can be a bit scary. I had complete confidence in him and he was friendly and informative. This is an experience I will never forget, the pulpit itself feels magical like something out of a fairy tale book. The gorge itself and the waterfalls are stunning. I wouldn't have got this experience if id have went alone. This is the only way to do it in my opinion if you take out Ferencs driving 🤣
The hike towards the gorge was fairly easy but to master those ancient stairs was hard. Luckily our guide showed us how to go and was very patient if you fell a little behind. The views of the pulpit are enchanting and worth those treacherous stairs. To get to the waterfalls you take off your shoes and navigate the rocks. The water was freezing and the rocks slippery but again our guide saw us through the whole experience. I worked recommend this tour.

It was absolutely fantastic! Despite it being a little scary just at the risk of falling etc, our guide made us feel safe, secure and never pushed us to do anything we weren't comfortable with. He showed us the best paths to take, the hand & foot placements when we were descending and ascending the pulpit and we ended up doing everything we could to get the gorgeous views (safely). I never would've imagined doing this, but he made it possible. We'd recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, scenic trip. The tour was amazing! It is very steep climb down so it’s definitely not suitable for everybody but well worth the journey down. Highly recommend taking your shoes off and venturing further. Ferenc was great and extremely informative. He is a wonderful help in getting down safely and gives you pointers for where to step or grab a hold on the rocks.
