It was fantastic. The bus ride was comfortable with 14 of us in a mini bus. The visit to Mary's house was very nice. If you have a prayer or a wish then write it down on paper and add it to the prayer wall. We enjoyed the visits in between and after to taste Turkish delights, to see a rug weaving demonstration, and wine tasting followed by a walk through a charming village. Then there was the excavated site which was amazing. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us all safe. Ephesus was amazing and the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis (a seventh Wonder of the World) and the Town of Siringe were extra bonuses on the tour. The travel van was very nice and clean. The tour group of seven was the perfect size. Lunch was good and everyone ate. Although I wasn’t looking forward to the stop at the leather factory I ended up enjoying the presentation while the stop at the rug factory was not as enjoyable.
