If you’ve been eyeing a way to combine stunning scenery, marine wildlife, and a relaxing sail, this Tenerife tour might just catch your eye. It’s a 3-hour voyage on a lovely yacht, designed to give you a taste of the island’s southern coastline while looking out for whales, dolphins, and even turtles.

It’s a trip many seem to enjoy for its intimate atmosphere, guides, and the chance to see wildlife in their natural habitat.

What we love about this experience is the opportunity to see pilot whales and dolphins up close, and the chance to swim or snorkel in a quiet, secluded bay. The crew’s friendly attitude and the boat’s comfortable setting really stand out. On the flip side, a possible consideration is that the trip doesn’t include hotel pickup, so you’ll need to coordinate your own transportation.

Very kind and attentive staff made the trip really great. Comfortable boat. All the children on board were seasick because of the waves which were unusually tall, but they still loved it!!
Adam
We saw beautiful whales and swam in an amazing bay with gorgeous blue waters

Enjoyed every second, from start to finish it was a fantastic afternoon! The yacht was beautiful, very calm atmosphere. Our skipper was extremely welcoming, ensured everyone on board was comfortable and was very knowledgeable about local marine life. We were lucky enough to see a turtle and lots of pilot whales, we lost count how many in the end – lots of mothers and babies. Best day of my holiday, was such a great experience. Would 100% recommend this boat trip over others that are on offer. Thank you once again!

Very sweet people, only a few other guest onboard so you get a very intimate experience. The captain found lots of pilot whales and stopped the motor so we didn’t interrupted them too much. 10/10 experience 🤩🐋🐋

Super day out. The water was calm and clear. the boat is absolutely beautiful. One of the best in the dock in my opinion. Tour guide was super friendly and the tour had a nice pace. Saw some whales, had a swim, got some snacks and then headed back to the docks. Other half's first time on a boat like it and she normally gets travel sick but, we sat up near the front and had a great time. Definitely recommend as there weren't too many people with us so, it's as close to a private charter you could get for under €200 euro.

Our group of four had an amazing time on the sailboat. One of us especially appreciated the friendliness and sociability of the crew, while another just loved everything about the experience! A third person would like to give a heads-up for those who may suffer from motion sickness: due to the large waves, it did get a little bumpy, so be prepared. But overall, the trip was fantastic. We saw a lot of whales, including some small ones, which was truly impressive. We also stopped in a beautiful bay to swim and enjoy the scenery. There were 10 people on board (excluding the crew), but it never felt crowded – there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a wonderful adventure. Thanks 🤩🤩…

This part of the trip is often highlighted as a favorite, with reviewers describing the waters as “gorgeous blue” and the bay as “secluded and peaceful.” It’s a refreshing break, especially after hours on the water, and many find the chance to cool off and enjoy the marine scenery worthwhile.

Really enjoyed this trip. Guide was really nice and took time to chat to everyone.. we saw loads of whales but unfortunately no dolphins. We were offered beers and had sandwiches made to order when the sails were up and the guide had a little more time. Enjoyed immensely

Took the bus to get to the meeting point (no pickup available) and were welcomed by our guide at the Marina. Very friendly and had a great time. We were a group of 5 friends and just enjoyed hanging out on the deck and watching the ocean. We were lucky and even put the sail up. Saw one dolphin and a bunch of small wales, truly incredible! Since we spent a bunch of time with the wales we only had 10 minutes left for a quick dip in the water. Alcoholic drinks and sandwiches were provided but would recommend to bring your own water. Great and fun experience. (Did not see Los Gigantes in case anybody is looking for this info as we weren't sure when we booked the tour)
