If you’re looking for a way to enjoy the stunning coastline around Kemer without the fuss of heavy sightseeing, the Red Dragon Pirate Boat Trip & Lunch might just be the ticket.
This tour offers a laid-back cruise through the Mediterranean, stopping at some beautiful bays for swimming, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun, all topped off with a tasty BBQ lunch. It’s the kind of day that appeals to travelers craving both relaxation and a touch of adventure.
What we love about this experience is how it combines the scenic beauty of Kemer’s bays with the informal, fun vibe of a pirate-themed boat. Plus, the value for money is pretty solid at around $17 per person, especially considering the duration and inclusions.
The driver was 30 mins late to arrive and to pick us up, he was very erratic had to stop a lot of times to check his tyre pressure and even at one point the alloy fell off, my Mrs and kids didn’t want the return journey with him, the boat it’s self was beautiful we didn’t get really get greeted though and the food was awful plain cold spaghetti bread and a piece of fish, considering it said Turkish bbq, the journey from belek was suppose to be around 90’mins we got picked up at 8 and arrived just before 10:30.
tourmania were great and the boat trip was loved by us all
I admit that the views were amazing. However, the cruise was supposed to start at 9:30 and we waited 45 minutes for the ship to leave the port. Additionally, the description said that we would see the city of Phaselis, but unfortunately that was not the case. And that was the point that mattered most to me. I would not have bought a trip just for the cruise.
On the flip side, some might be wary of the cost of drinks onboard or the additional fees for Phaselis entrance, which aren’t included in the ticket price.
This tour tends to draw those who want a relaxed, social day on the water rather than a strict sightseeing trip. It’s ideal if you’re traveling with friends or simply want a carefree, scenic escape.

The Itinerary: What’s on the Menu?
The adventure kicks off with a cruise from Kemer Marina, giving you an initial taste of the beautiful coastline. The boat then heads along the coast, offering passengers the chance to enjoy the breeze and views from the open deck.
For many, the highlight is the stop at Phaselis, an ancient Greek and Roman city adorned with ruins like aqueducts, baths, and a theater. You’ll have time for a photo stop, exploring the ruins, and having lunch.
The lunch onboard isn’t just a quick snack; it’s a barbecue featuring grilled meats and sides, which most reviews mention as a tasty treat. This addition makes it feel more like a social gathering than just a sightseeing cruise. After lunch, you’ll visit Paradise Bay or Mehmet Ali Bükü, both offering calm, shallow waters great for swimming and snorkeling.
Très belle journée, beau bateau bonne ambiance!
Alles Mega!
Later, the boat takes you to Beycik Bükü for another photo stop, with views that are well worth a moment’s pause. The final swimming stop at Alacasu Koyu provides a peaceful inlet ideal for unwinding before heading back to Kemer Marina. The cruise then loops back, offering more scenic views and a chance to relax one last time on the water.
Stops That Make a Difference
- Phaselis: The ruins are quite impressive and a real highlight; you'll appreciate the chance to walk around this ancient site.
Keep in mind, entrance fees aren’t included, so you'll need to budget around 50 TL if you want to explore thoroughly.
- Paradise Bay & Mehmet Ali Bükü: These bays are sheltered, calm, and shallow, making them great for families, groups, or anyone just wanting a peaceful swim.
- Beycik Bükü & Alacasu Koyu: These spots offer additional swimming options with great scenery and opportunities for snorkeling.
