The vehicle to take us to the dock didn't make it to the meeting place so our group had to walk there. The van or bus was supposed to take us to a beach closer to Los Arcos. Getting on (and off) the panga at the central dock in Zona Romantica was very scary as 4 foot swells bobbed the boat up and down. Water was pretty rough for the long ride to Los Arcos but life jackets were not handed out. I insisted and was given one. Seeing Los Arcos up close was great; bioluminescense too if you hadn't seen it before. Our host and the boat operator did their best to keep us entertained and safe.

The bioluminescence is very cool, just not as bright as in the photos advertised. The crew is really nice and keeps everyone safe, can’t say enough good things about them. It is also nice that you get a few beers to sip on while on the boat.
