If you’re eyeing a way to see Lagos that combines fun, scenery, and a bit of exercise, this guided E-bike tour might just be what you’re looking for. While we haven’t personally taken this exact ride, the glowing reviews and detailed itinerary suggest it’s a solid choice for travelers eager to explore the Algarve’s stunning coast in a relaxed, eco-conscious way.
What makes this experience stand out? First, the guides clearly know their stuff—they’re not just riding instructors but storytellers who keep the pace comfortable and the commentary interesting. Second, the scenery really shines: from historic castles to dramatic cliffs and secret beaches, you’ll hit some of the most photogenic spots around Lagos.
One thing to consider before booking is that the tour’s pace and terrain can be challenging for absolute beginners, especially on tricky trails or uneven surfaces. Also, the tour is kept intimate, with a maximum of 8 participants, which is great for personalized attention but might not appeal if you’re seeking a large-group vibe.
Such a fun time exploring Lagos! We definitely explored areas we would not have come across on our own. Frederico was awesome.
We booked this bike tour last minute and so glad we did! Frederico is a great guide and took us to some of the best spots only a local would know! Stress free and fun way to see Lagos and Ponte de Piadade. Highly recommend!
This was a great tour with Fred! We had a nice group of 6 people and he kept us all engaged and ensured we were safe the entire time. I really enjoyed seeing Lagos from this perspective. Everyone on the tour was fun and and inclusive – no one was ever left out. Fred speaks multiple languages so don't hesitate because of language and riding an e-bike is so fun….he also gives tons of guidance if this is your first time on an e-bike. This is an absolute must in Lagos!
This tour seems best suited for those who value quality experience, stunning views, and guides over sheer speed or large crowds.

We did the eBike tour with Frederico on our first day in Lagos, and it was the perfect introduction to the area. The tour beautifully combined in-town and road riding with scenic gravel trail sections along the stunning coastline. Frederico was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He made regular stops to share interesting facts about landmarks and local history, and he was always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and keeping up. The mix of terrains kept things fun and engaging, and the breathtaking views made the entire experience unforgettable. A very enjoyable tour and a great way to start our girls trip in Lagos—highly recommend!
Our guide, Frederico, was awesome and it was just us on the tour. The sights are great and he does a thorough job of explaining the history of the area. I didn’t expect all the off road riding. You are riding by the cliffs on dirt and gravel for quite a bit of the time and not necessarily on a path of any kind. There are parts that are steep and you need to walk the bike. I enjoyed all the scenery but didn’t enjoy falling off the bike and getting bruised up. Luckily, I wasn’t seriously hurt but it could have put a real damper on the trip. Frederico was very accommodating when this occurred and gave me wipes to get the dirt off and clean the abrasions. Would I do it again? Probably not-…
Excellent way to see the area and such a wonderful adventure. Beautiful sites! Excellent tour guide. We loved it! Definitely for an experienced bike rider, it is more mountain biking, and not so much leisure. The E bikes were great!
The reviews reinforce how much people appreciate the personal touch—Fred’s local knowledge, the safety focus, and the memorable views make it stand out. The experience isn’t just about riding bikes; it’s about connecting with the landscape and culture of Lagos in a way that’s accessible and fun.
Who Will Love This Tour
This tour suits those who enjoy gentle outdoor activities, are curious about Lagos’s history and natural beauty, and prefer a small-group setting. It’s ideal if you’re looking for a memorable, scenic outing that doesn’t require a high level of fitness or previous biking experience—though a basic comfort on bikes is recommended.
Families with older children or teens might also find it enjoyable if they’re comfortable on bikes and interested in scenery and history.
