Nice trip with excellent bus driver and guide. Timanfaya was just as I remembered it. Been 3 times. It is really a haunting landscape and still amazes me. Don’t get long enough at the top but I understand as it’s so busy. Green lagoon was just that. First saw it 38 years ago and still have the same opinion underwhelming. You can’t get close to it. We never had the lunch buffet we thought it was expensive and had a look and didn’t look appealing to us but there is a cafe next door so had a coffee and croissant there. Can’t comment on winery as I don’t drink wine. Didn’t do camels as been done before. Overall a lovely day out.
Despite a rough delayed start due to two cruise ships in port and lost tourists, Yvette (polyglot guide) and Ignacio (driver extraordinaire) did a great job on the tour! We really enjoyed the unique landscape of Tiimanfaya and the rest of the island. Lunch buffet had something for everyone. Of note, tour was conducted in three languages (English, Spanish and German) which sometimes made it hard to hear as tourists not listening to their language many times talked over those trying to listen to their language.
