We booked the Electric Car Tour for our group of four (two per car), and it was such a fun way to see Malaga! The cars were comfortable, spacious, and easy to ride in. Our guides, Alex and Gemma, were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the area. The route took us through different neighborhoods of Malaga, giving us a real feel for the city beyond the main tourist spots. We made a couple of scenic stops, including the caves and lookout points, which were perfect for photos. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable way to spend a few hours exploring Malaga. Highly recommend!

This was such fabulous fun and the treasure caves are definitely worth seeing. Our guide and the communication between vehicles was great too. Definitely something to consider when visiting beautiful Málaga 😀

Exploring Málaga’s Neighborhoods

The tour makes a few stops in charming districts, each with its own character. One stop is in a neighborhood famous for its seafood, where you might catch the scent of barbecue-fresh fish. These areas are great for snapping photos, feeling the vibe of local life, and enjoying some quiet moments away from the tourist crowds.

The Highlight: Cueva del Tesoro

The main attraction is the Cueva del Tesoro, the only marine-origin cave in Europe. It’s considered one of the most fascinating caves in the world. The visit includes an admission ticket and a guided walkthrough, where you’ll learn about its rock formations and the legends surrounding it.

Expect to spend about an hour here, marveling at the natural beauty and the stories that have been passed down through centuries.

Travelers love the cave’s stunning formations and the fact that it’s a true natural marvel. One reviewer called it “beautiful,” while others appreciated how easy it was to navigate, even at their age—some visitors are in their 60s, with no problems getting around.

We had a great morning driving around Malaga, Spain in the little electric car. Our guides, Alex and Gemma, were perfect! They picked us up at the Malaga cruise port terminal, explained how to operate the car, provided an overview of where we were going and what we would see. Alex gave us a lot of suggestions of where to eat, shop, and visit. We throughly enjoyed our experience. If we return to Malaga, we would book another tour with them. Thank you for a fun experience!!!

What a great experience we had with Gemma and Alex. They were great hosts and showed us so much of the city we didn’t know about! I’d recommend taking this tour on day one or two of your holiday as you will learn many places to visit whilst you are here.

It was fun, but not as expected. We spent most of the time driving then site seeing. When u drive u can not see the city. U pay attention to the road. The audio tour impossible to hear because you constantly interrupted by lead driver. I gave 5 stars because Alex and Team put alot of effort to make experience good. Caves are awesome.

Gibralfaro Viewpoint & City Highlights

Next, you’ll head to the Castillo de Gibralfaro viewpoint. Here, you’ll get a panoramic view of Málaga, great for snapping photos or just soaking in the scenery. The guide will point out landmarks like La Manquita Cathedral and the colorful Pompidou Museum, passing by the city’s most emblematic sites.

Some travelers noted that the tour didn’t always go exactly to the main Gibralfaro castle but to a nearby parking area with great views. That’s a small detail, but it’s good to keep in mind if you’re expecting to walk around the castle itself.

The route often passes by the famous “color cube” Pompidou Museum, a highlight for many visitors drawn to its vibrant appearance. The tour wraps up back where it started, leaving you with plenty of time to continue exploring or relax afterward.

Our electric car tour in Málaga was such a unique and fun experience! The drive was smooth, the views were beautiful, and visiting the caves was definitely a highlight. Highly recommend this tour for something different and memorable!

We visited Malaga multiple times so we wanted to try something different. The electric car tour of Malaga was great for that purpose. We arrived on a cruise ship and the tour started right at the cruise terminal so we did not waste any time. They dropped us back at cruise terminal at the end of the tour which was very convenient. The driving little electric Citroen is a lot of fun. The navigation was easy, plus our guide was constantly keeping an eye on the group, he gave plenty of warning before turns or complicated intersections and made sure that nobody is lost (we had a couple of elderly people driving in a group 😆). The cave was pretty cool both visually and temperature-wise which wa…

Driving around the city was really fun! Alex was very knowledgeable, personable, and jovial. If you're looking for a unique way to see the city of Málaga, this is it! Alex also gave us tons of recommendations for things to do & see and places to eat & drink. The treasure caves were excellent! The geology and archeology were fantastic.
Darius S
So much fun driving an electric car thru Malaga. We got to see so much of the city and parts outside the City that we wouldn’t venture. The caves were nice but after seeing real caves (Carlsbad etc.) these were kinda meh. Alex and Gemma were great hosts and guides. At first I was a little concerned when they said I was driving the second car myself with my wife next to me. They lead the way in the first car with the guide stuff done over walkie talkie. But it was easy getting the hang of the car and with the glass top and open sides you really get to see a lot. My only suggestion is if they can improve the communication between the lead car and us. Not sure if there is another option ins…
