I had a wonderfuly day trying to surf for the first time ever! Unfortunately the conditions were a bit rough but one can't control the weather! The teacher made sure to be there and keep us safe at any time and was celebrating every little win with us – definitely recommend trying it for yourself!

I was really happy with the Guide giving just a few tips not too much so I could really focus on one thing at a time.

That said, it’s worth noting that this is a group activity, so if you prefer a private lesson, this might not be the best fit. Also, the tour is geared towards beginners over 7 years old and non-swimmers, so it’s not suitable for very young kids or those completely uncomfortable in the water.

This tour is perfect for adventurous travelers eager to try surfing for the first time amid beautiful surroundings on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula.

It was fun and the coaches were great! However, as we were a group of 15 and only 2 coaches, a few more coaches would have been ideal as a beginner.
