Incredible wine, delicious food, cheeky tidbits of local history… this tour deserves all five stars (I wish I could give it six). The guides are friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable. The food is fabulous— make sure to arrive with an empty stomach, because you won’t want to leave anything on your plate! Our only regret is not doing this tour sooner into our time in the Azores— our guides had countless suggestions for restaurants, bars, and other local experiences, and I only wish we had more time to do them all before our flight home. Obrigada!

We loved everything about this tour. It was well organized, our tour guide Andre was very knowledgeable, funny and made this tour a great experience and awesome way to end our vacation! And his assistant Fred was awesome too!! Would highly recommend to book it!

The best way to spend an evening in Ponta. The team knows their wine (and food)! It’s not your typical wine and food tour with cheap wine and to go bites. Don’t miss it!

The tour’s price of around $141 per person includes food, wine, and guides, making it a solid value for a 3.5-hour adventure through the heart of Ponta Delgada’s culinary offerings.

Two features we appreciate are the small group size, which promotes intimacy and more personalized attention, and the local wine and food pairing experience that promises to deepen your understanding of Azorean traditions.

The only potential downside? It’s a walking tour, so comfortable shoes are a must, and it might not be suitable for those with dietary restrictions like vegan, halal, or kosher options, as these aren’t available.

This experience seems great for those who enjoy exploring through tasting, learning about local culture, and doing so in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Our original daytime food tour was canceled and we rebooked this food and wine tour instead. My sister and I had a wonderful time with our knowledgeable guide. Three fun stops with a lot of wine and food with a great group of people made this a fun tour. All within walking distance of our hotel. A perfect way to spend an evening and tasting all the Sao Miguel has to offer. We had three food stops with multiple wine tasters at each stop. La Tasca, 1001 Wine and Art plus a tasty dessert and surprise Liqueur at our last stop. Good food, good wine and fun times !

This food tour was a great choice. The two guides were very friendly and personable. I booked this for my family who had little exposure to Portuguese cuisine and it was a wonderful opportunity for them to experience a highlighted assortment of food. Our guides explained all courses and dishes to us, as well as the history of the area. My family and I greatly enjoyed the entire experience!

An amazing food and wine tasting tour that exceeded expectations in Ponta Delgada, Azores. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions we had. The food was an excellent sampling of Azorean foods: sausage, octopus, stews, cheeses, and pineapple. All of the local wines were excellent and paired well with food. Our tour guide took time to explain each pairing and then gave us the space to enjoy the food and make our own connections about Azorean food. We bonded well with our fellow group members – love the small group setting. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience Azorean culture!
