Nice way to see as much of Antalya's sites as possible including the Duden Waterfalls. Relaxing boat trip. Friendly driver and tour guide. Very good vegan lunch! Expected the cable car but was told it only runs on Thursdays so instead we visited a jewellery store! There was no in depth explanations of the various parts of the trip e.g. old town and where specific sites of interests can be found .. felt a little lost there.

This was a very well organised and enjoyable trip. Our tour guide Abdul Qadeer was very thorough in his job and kept the timings of sight seeing well within the schedule through out the excursion. The lunch was delicious especially the spicy Adana kebab platter was scrumptious and is highly recommended! All in all a great city sightseeing tour.

The guide Me. Apo (Abdullah) was great and informative. He gave heads up about cancelled cable car activity. I am surprised a that Viator allowed us to pick cable car option and charged even though it is not operational for a month or so. Viator should fix this issue. Also Viator is not taking responsibility to refund when we have paid them directly.

That said, there are a couple of points to keep in mind. The most significant is the cable car cancellation — it doesn’t operate on the day of your tour, which might be disappointing if that was a highlight for you. Also, some reviews mention the tour feeling a bit rushed or overcrowded, especially if you’re looking for a more leisurely, in-depth exploration.

All in all, this tour is best suited for travelers who want a guided, organized day with a mix of sights, some free time, and a taste of Antalya’s natural beauty. If you’re okay with some substitutions and are looking for good value rather than a completely bespoke experience, this could be a solid choice.

The Arrival and Pickup

We appreciate how smoothly everything starts — the tour includes pickup from your hotel in Antalya, and the vehicles are air-conditioned, which is a lifesaver in the Turkish heat. The cozy, modern transport helps set a relaxed tone for the day ahead.

It’s clear the organizers aim for efficiency, and many reviews mention their punctuality, which is always appreciated when trying to fit a full day’s worth of sightseeing into a limited schedule.

Kaleici Marina and Old Town Charm

The first major stop is Kaleici Marina, the historic heart of Antalya. Here, you’ll find cobbled streets and charming architecture that make for excellent photo opportunities. The guide offers insights into the area’s history and culture, so you get more than just a quick look — you really start to grasp what makes this part of the city special.

Many visitors love this part of the tour because it’s authentic and lively, with plenty of spots to grab Turkish coffee or browse local shops. You’ll get about two hours here, which is enough to soak in the vibe, do a little shopping, or just relax at a café. One reviewer highlighted the “flawless authentic atmosphere” and appreciated the chance to interact with locals.

Dűden falls was so awesome as well as the boat trip. Unfortunately the cable car was cancelled due to collapse of the system.

Hello the tour was perfekt and Kaan our guide was very friendly and gentle We saw all the important places of Antalya and enjoyed it Thank you

Our guide was great, funny and knowledgeable. The trip didn't seem to follow the advertised itinerary. We'd have liked to have seen more, and found out more about Antalya. We had an hour's free time at the end of a very long day there, not the 2 hours guided in the itinerary. The jewellery shop wasn't on the itinerary and possibly took up time we could have used elsewhere. The cable car was impressive and the views were amazing. Again a bit of history or context would have improved the experience. The boat trip was just that. We went out, went past a waterfall and came back. Again no context. Lunch was average. It was nice to get out of the hotel but I'm not sure we learned much about the …

The Waterfalls and Boat Trip

Next, you’ll head to the Lower Duden Waterfalls, one of Antalya’s most iconic natural sights. The waterfalls plunge from 45 meters into the Mediterranean, making for some stunning views. The boat trip adds a leisurely twist, allowing you to see the falls from the water — a perspective that’s often more impressive than from land.

Guests who’ve experienced this part mention how incredible the waterfalls are, with one reviewer calling them “ impressive.” The boat ride lasts about an hour, making it a relaxing break from walking and sightseeing. It’s a highlight for many, especially if you love nature and scenic views.

Lunch Break in Kaleici

The tour includes a break for a local lunch, which many travelers find to be a real treat. The restaurant is in Kaleici, offering traditional Turkish dishes like kebabs, and the reviews are generally positive about the quality and flavor. This is a good chance to rest, chat with fellow travelers, and refuel before continuing.

Free Time and Shopping Stops

After lunch, there’s a 45-minute break in Antalya. This is often used for visiting shops or grabbing a quick snack. Some reviews mention this part feeling a bit rushed, but it’s a manageable amount of time if you're keen to do some browsing or pick up souvenirs.

Visit to the Iconic Antalya and Optional Cable Car

The final major stops are within Antalya itself, with a focus on the city’s highlights. Here you’ll have about an hour to wander or explore further. The optional Olympos Teleferik cable car ride is included in some packages, but a common note from travelers is that it operates only on Thursdays.

If you’re on a different day, you’ll skip the cable car and visit a jewelry store instead. Several guests noted this substitution, sometimes feeling a bit disappointed due to expectations.

The cable car offers panoramic views of Antalya’s mountains and coastline — if available, it’s a fantastic addition, but if it’s canceled, the day still offers plenty of sightseeing without it.

Return and Drop-Off

The tour wraps up around the late afternoon or early evening, with transportation back to your hotel. Many reviewers appreciate how smoothly this runs, with punctual drop-offs and friendly guides who ensure everyone is comfortable and informed.

What the Guides Do Well & What To Keep in Mind

The guides are consistently praised for their knowledge and friendliness. For example, one reviewer said, “Ahmed was attentive, witty, and had vast knowledge of the area,” which shows the value of a good guide in making the experience engaging and informative.

However, some travelers feel the itinerary can feel a bit rushed, especially if you’re trying to take in everything at a leisurely pace. A few mention that the tour doesn’t always follow the schedule perfectly, with delays pushing the day into the evening. The overcrowding reported by some could also diminish the sense of personal connection or relaxed exploration.

Price and Value

For around $19, this tour offers excellent value given all that’s included — transportation, a local lunch, entrance fees to waterfalls, and the boat trip. You do have to consider that activities like the cable car are optional and sometimes unavailable, which might be a slight letdown if that was a key part of your plan.

Who Will Appreciate This Tour?

If you’re after a full day of sightseeing with a guide, good logistics, and a variety of activities, this tour ticks most boxes. It’s great for first-time visitors who want to cover the main sights without the hassle of planning each stop. If you’re comfortable with some crowding and don’t mind a flexible itinerary (or a substitute like a jewelry store), you’ll find this tour quite rewarding.
