A pleasant walk through old town, Lagos. The meeting spot was easy to find, Brodie is super friendly and chatty, sharing bits of knowledge and laughs along the way. Due to time of year, some places are closed but told about the markets and given great recommendations for a delicious lunch spot and beautiful beach walks.

Comprehensive information and interesting walk. Can be recommended for the overview of the city. Brodie is a great guide

Lots of fun and humor while at the same time getting a wealth of interesting facts about Portugal's history.

One thing to keep in mind is the brief duration—if you’re looking for an in-depth deep dive into every corner, this might be more of an introduction than a comprehensive exploration.

But for most travelers, especially those with limited time or seeking a friendly, relaxed overview, it’s a solid choice.

This tour seems best suited for those who want a relaxed, informative introduction to Lagos—perfect if you’re arriving for a short stay or if you prefer exploring with a guide who can share local tips along the way.

Families, couples, or solo travelers who enjoy walking tours with a mix of history, culture, and some fun surprises should find this appealing. It’s also a good fit if you’re on a budget but still want meaningful insights into the town’s charm.

Brodie was a great tour guide. Lots of interesting history but also super chill. It was the perfect introduction to Lagos on our first full day. Highly recommend!

Several reviews highlight that they learned things they wouldn’t have discovered on their own, such as the significance of local street art or the history behind certain statues.

Potential Drawbacks

While most reviews are glowing, a few travelers noted that the tour’s short duration might leave some wanting more depth. Also, since it’s about two hours long, it’s not a detailed deep dive into every aspect of Lagos’ history or culture but rather a well-curated overview.

Brodie does a very fine job and he is patient and it's a fun 2 hours. Very informative without giving you unnecessary detail

Practical Considerations

  • Timing: The tour is about two hours, making it a good option for fitting into a busy itinerary or as a first-day activity.
  • Accessibility: It’s a walking tour within the Old Town, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
  • Weather Dependence: Like all outdoor activities, it’s weather-dependent.

If canceled due to bad weather, you’ll be offered a different date or full refund.

  • Group Size: Limited to 15 travelers, creating a more intimate environment.

This IS a fun, casual stroll through the small town of Lagos that definitely covered the highlights and gave us a feel for the town and a bit of its history. Brodie is a VERY chill resident of Lagos who was funny, personable, and did a nice job. From the description and even from Brodie himself the tour was supposed to end with a dessert tasting, but it abruptly ended at the pier area instead without the dessert. Not quite sure what happened there but it wasn't a really big deal for us. Good tour to get the highlights if you are short on time in the area or so you can make plans to go back and see the things you want to revisit. We went back to the markets, but sadly the museums were clo…
