This experience seems best suited for those who enjoy outdoor activities, want a taste of skiing or snowboarding without committing to multi-day trips, and enjoy stunning mountain scenery. It’s not ideal if you’re pregnant, have back or heart problems, or aren’t comfortable in cold weather.
Best experience ever, i completely recommend this tour, the guides, the instructors, the round trip and the van was excellent, thank you
The skiing experience itself was good. The guide was lovely. However they were all very disorganised at the ski centre place. It was soo hectic and took almost 1hr for us to get our gear, equipment and wait for the instructor. I think some people gave up waiting for the instructor and went their own way. There was only 1 instructor for skiers and people snowboarding you would expect more for how much each person paid. The instructor was lovely and he tried his best I think. At the end we returned on a fuller van, we think they were trying to save money/time? But there was one broken seat and it was full so one child had to sit on their dad knee all journey.
The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Our guide Eko was really great and took really good care of us. This was my first time skiing on such a big mountain and it will definitely not be my last. I will for sure be booking this experience again as it was great value for money.

The Journey Begins: From Hotel to Snow
The adventure kicks off early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel—whether you're in Göreme, Cappadocia, or Kayseri. The drive to Mount Erciyes takes about an hour, which gives you a chance to settle in and perhaps chat with your guide. The mini-van used for transportation is comfortable enough for small groups and makes the whole experience feel personalized rather than crowded.
Once you arrive at the base, the staff will assist you in getting your gear—skis, snowboards, helmets, and boots. This readiness step reassures first-timers that safety and comfort are priorities. You’ll appreciate the attention to detail, especially if you're new to skiing; the guides are friendly and ready to answer questions.
The Slopes: Something for Everyone
One of the biggest pluses of this tour is the variety of tracks. For beginners, there's a gentle 500-meter-long track with a flat escalator—super helpful for those just starting out. An optional one-hour lesson from a professional instructor can be added here, which many find invaluable for building confidence.
For those with more experience, the advanced sections feature two 1,500-meter-long tracks, accessible via cable car. These longer runs are great for more confident skiers or snowboarders looking to enjoy a faster pace and more challenging terrain. The presence of cable cars makes it easy to access these slopes without much hassle.
Why Guides and Equipment Matter
People often mention guides like Eko, who are praised for their attentiveness. A good guide can really make or break your day—helping with equipment, offering tips, and ensuring you stay safe. For first-timers, the optional lesson can be particularly beneficial, giving you a solid foundation before tackling more demanding slopes.

Free Time and Scenic Views
Along With skiing, the tour offers plenty of free time to soak in the views. Mount Erciyes’s volcanic landscape is striking, and many find the scenery almost surreal against the white snow. It’s a great moment to pause, take photos, and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
Wrap-Up and Return
The day winds down with a return trip to your hotel, typically in the evening. The early start and 6-hour window mean you’ll have a full day of activity but still plenty of time to rest afterward.
What Travelers Say

Reviewers consistently highlight the excellent guides and the stunning vistas as major highlights. One traveler from the UAE said, “The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Our guide Eko was really great and took really good care of us.” Another from Saudi Arabia called it a "very nice adventurous" day, appreciating the overall value and fun.
Some note that the equipment and instruction made it accessible even for beginners, which is a big bonus if you’re new to skiing or snowboarding. The organized nature of the tour, along with the small group size of up to 15 participants, ensures a more personal experience.
Practical Details for the Trip

The tour runs for about six hours, starting early in the morning, so it’s best to be prepared for cold weather and dress warmly. Warm clothing, sunscreen, and comfortable boots are recommended because you'll be outdoors for several hours.
The group size is kept small—up to 15—which makes for a more intimate setting and better attention from guides. The price is reasonable considering the included services: pick-up, equipment, instruction, and lunch. Many reviewers find it to be quite good value for money, especially since it covers all the essentials needed for a fun day on the slopes.
Who Should Consider This Tour?
This experience is ideal if you’re visiting Cappadocia or Kayseri and want a quick, well-organized snow adventure without the hassle of planning transportation and equipment. It’s perfect for beginners or those with some experience looking to enjoy a day of skiing or snowboarding in a scenic mountain setting.
However, it’s not suitable for pregnant women, people with back or heart problems, or those who aren’t comfortable in cold weather. Kids over the age of 10 could enjoy it if they’re confident on skis or snowboards, but check with the provider if you’re traveling with very young children.
