Planning a trip to Naxos and wondering how to make the most of your time on the sea? A catamaran all-inclusive day cruise might just be the highlight of your holiday. We haven’t personally sailed it, but based on numerous reviews and detailed info, this experience seems to hit that sweet spot of scenic beauty, relaxing activities, and good value.
What we love about this cruise is how it combines a luxurious yet laid-back vibe, with stops at some of the most gorgeous beaches and coves in the area. Plus, the onboard traditional lunch made from local products and the drinks included elevate the experience beyond just a boat trip.
On the flip side, one thing to keep in mind is that the boat’s capacity is limited—so if you’re traveling with a larger group or seeking a more private experience, that might be worth considering.
Wonderful day out in the water with great opportunities to swim in the bright blue waters around Naxos. The Vasili’s were great hosts and the lunch served was delicious. Lots of wine, beer, and other beverages available. Water can get a bit choppy so I’d suggest that you are prepared!
The meeting location was perfect and easy to find. The captain and co-captain were fantastic to deal with. Easy going, friendly, professional and always ensuring high safety standards. They made everyone feel at ease, even my fiance is is not fond of the open water, was made to feel at ease. The food was absolutely delicious and they took dietary restrictions into account. The whole day was so enjoyable and a great fun vibe! Recommend this tour! The Apollo, we will never forget!
Was a beautiful day with fun had by all. Staff were sweet and welcoming, great stops and route. Perfect way to appreciate the islands.

The Itinerary and Stops
While the exact route may shift depending on the weather—since safety always comes first—the typical plan involves visiting secluded beaches and coves that are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Several reviews mention stops at three beautiful locations, where travelers can jump into the water, snorkel with provided masks, or simply lounge on the boat and soak up the sun.
Fantastic experience.Well fed , well watered and absolutely stunning views and turquoise water. Thanks captain and co x
Great food, drink and fun. Captain Izzy was wonderful and first mate Cornelious was fantastic. Highly recommend this trip!
We LOVED our trip. What a pleasant surprise there was only 6 of us!!! Crew was very attentive. Food was great. Stop were stunning and fun jumping in the water. A memorable time for sure.
A standout feature for many is the lunch served onboard. It’s a traditional meal prepared with local ingredients, and it’s served with cold refreshments, beer, and wine. Reviewers have raved about the quality of the food, noting it as a highlight of the trip, especially given the compact kitchen below deck.
The Swimming and Snorkeling Experience
Swimming at different stops is a key part of the cruise. You’ll have opportunities to snorkel at each location, with masks provided—an excellent way to explore the underwater world without needing any extra gear or experience. Many reviews mention how relaxing and fun the stops are, with several describing the water as crystal-clear.
The Crew and Atmosphere
The crew gets high praise across reviews. People describe them as attentive, helpful, and friendly, balancing taking care of everyone with giving guests free time. A few travelers mentioned that their group was quite small—only six people in one review, which made the experience feel very personalized.
The maximum group size is 20, which means you’re unlikely to feel crowded, and everyone gets a chance to enjoy the boat and stops comfortably.
It was a lovely day out and the crew were wonderful. They took care of us throughout the day but balanced that with leaving us to our own devises. While the conditions and visibility were perfect there wasn’t all that much to see.
Nice boat but too small for 20 participants. Crews are nice and helpful. The lunch is just so so. This is a sailing boat but using engines for the whole day.
We had a wonderful time. The crew was fabulous. The lunch was great. Stopped and swam at three beautiful locations in Paros. Endless wine and endless fun.
Drinks and Snacks
Along With the included wine and beer, there are coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day. This makes it easy to stay refreshed, whether you want a quick caffeine boost or just enjoy the drinks on deck as you watch the scenery go by.

What Could Be Better?

While the experience scores very highly, some reviewers pointed out minor drawbacks. One review noted that the boat is quite small for 20 participants, which could feel a little cramped if everyone is eager to lounge or move around. Also, although the lunch is generally praised, some say it’s “just so-so”—not gourmet, but decent considering the setting.
A few reviews also mention that, as a sailing boat, it uses engines for the whole day rather than purely sailing, which might matter if you’re expecting a totally authentic sailing experience. Plus, the itinerary might vary depending on weather conditions, which could mean missing some stops or changing the route for safety.
Price and Value
At $162.80 per person, this cruise offers a lot for the cost. You’re getting seven hours of sailing, multiple swimming stops, a traditional onboard lunch, and drinks, all on a small, intimate boat. Comparing the price with the reviews, most travelers feel it’s good value, especially considering the personalized service and the quality of the scenery.
Amazing views during the full trip and welcoming, kind crew. Great drinks and food/snacks throughout.
Fantastic captain and staff, all very polite and helpful. Good value for money, including 3 nice beach stops, muscles for lunch & alcohol / water on-board. 20 persons max was enough, which I am glad it was not more.
We had a very nice day riding on the catamaran. Our not was not crowded and we had ample opportunity to lounge on the nets while sailing. We made three stops and were able to snorkel at each one. Lunch was very good considering it was made in a tiny kitchen below deck. Beverages were cold. We really enjoyed!
Who Is This Tour Best For?
This cruise is ideal if you want a relaxed day on the water with beautiful scenery, good food, and plenty of swimming. It’s great for small groups or couples who enjoy a friendly, intimate atmosphere. If you’re traveling with family or friends and appreciate good value for money, this tour checks all the boxes.
If your main goal is a luxury or very private experience, or if you’re seeking a completely sailing-focused trip, you might want to look elsewhere. But for most travelers seeking a fun, scenic, and well-organized day with a friendly crew, this cruise hits the mark.

Decided to book a catamaran tour with a couple of friends and it was wonderful! The crew were very accommodating and drove us around Naxos and Paros stopping at 3 beautiful locations. Would 10/10 recommend!
Went on this boat trip with my partner. It was a good day. We had nice lunch and snacks and the staff were very attentive. Down side for us was it was a 2.5 hr sail down to the south of the island and rina cave, where we stopped for a while for lunch and swimming. The beach wasnt very impressive and it seemed a long way to go just to see the cave, when we could have gone to somewhere prettier eg Fousonissi. We did stop for swims at Alykis and Mikra vigla on the way back which were nice. We realise we take a chance on boat trips as they have to go to places depending on the weather. So overall a good day but scenery not that great… and they ran out of wine lol!
A lovely tour. The guys in charge were very friendly at all times taking us to beautiful places, giving us the freedom to swim in crystal clear waters, even gave us a paddle board and antiparras. The tour was in English and the boys spoke very good English. The very rich food and because I am celiac gave me all gluten free. A luxuryAuto-translated
