If you’re planning a trip to Dubrovnik and want a memorable, relaxed experience that combines incredible views, local wines, and a dash of Croatian charm, this Sunset Wine Tasting at Panorama Point might just be what you’re looking for. While I haven’t personally done this tour, from what travelers say, it’s a seriously special way to end an evening in this stunning city.
One of the things I love about this experience is how it offers a private, intimate setting — unlike busy group tours, this one takes you away from the crowds. Plus, the spectacular sunset views from Sr hill are truly unbeatable. On the flip side, it’s worth noting that this activity involves a bit of walking and a private transfer, so it’s not ideal if you’re looking for a completely laid-back, no-move kind of evening.
All in all, it’s best suited for those who appreciate good wine, beautiful scenery, and a touch of local storytelling.
The highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik, it was so interesting and our host was amazing. The skyline was everything we wanted and more. Tip, maybe wear flat shoes
Absolutely brilliant experience and great value for money. Marino picked us up from our hotel, drove us to a beautiful spot and let us try 3 local wines and some home made food, whilst giving us some fascinating historical insights. The view was spectacular, the wine and food delicious – if I could make one recommendation when visiting Dubrovnik, I would suggest booking this instead of the Cable car, an authentic local experience with a brilliant guide (who then took us back to the hotel as well (and we were staying a little it outside Dubrovnik)
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We got a lesson on the area as well as the local food provided. We left saying that we know so much more about the area and people. Thank you!

What You’ll Actually Do

The tour kicks off with door-to-door transfer, making it super convenient. Whether you’re staying in the Old Town or nearby, your guide will pick you up in a regular car or minivan and take you directly to Sr hill, roughly two hours before sunset.
Once at the viewpoint, you’ll settle on cushions on rocks and enjoy your wine and snacks in a relaxed, informal setting. The snacks are homemade, adding a personal touch and making the experience feel more authentic. As you sip your wine, your guide will share stories about Dubrovnik, its history, and local wine culture — making it both a tasting and a mini cultural lesson.
This was the best evening EVER! Our guide Marino was so knowledgeable about Croatian wines and was very friendly and informative throughout. He is a great photographer and captured every special moment between me and my partner – particularly when my partner proposed! Marino made the rest of the evening more special when he gave us more recommendations of restaurants/bars to try out in the Old Town – each of which did not disappoint! Honestly would love to relive this night once more because it was just magical! So worth the money – definitely book this activity with your loved one! You will not regret it! THANK YOU MARINO!!! 😀 From Charlie and Joe xoxo
