What I liked most about this tour was the scenery. The views were spectacular. It would be better if you had 2 guides. David was great but if there was another guide in case of a problem, that would make sense. I had to stay behind because I couldn't keep up. My husband didn't want to leave me alone so he stayed with me.

David was great. Very knowledgable and happy to answer any questions. 2 of the tour were unable to complete it (it was a fair climb!!) but he checked on them and they were collected on the way back. Only slight criticism is that it did t really state just how strenuous it would be, even on full boost, but perhaps I just felt it more as not the fittest person around!

The rude up the hill to the lookout was a little challenging in places. we rode on the street so needed to be aware of your buses and vans. David did a great job of guiding us up the hill and made a couple stops to provide info. at the top we got a snack and a drink, along with more info about the fjord. David also did a great job of taking photos for everyone vs selfies! the rude down was a breeze!

However, a quick consideration: since the route includes mostly uphill sections during the first half, being in decent shape helps, even with the electric assist. This tour is best suited for moderately sporty cyclists who enjoy a bit of effort but appreciate some help along the way.

This experience seems perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small groups who want a balanced blend of activity, culture, and scenery. If you’re after a leisurely yet adventurous way to see Geiranger, keep reading—this could be your ideal outing.
