Breathing-taking view ! pick-up on time. And back to Antalya Old Town on time, too (around 14:30). So i caught up with my 17:25 flight. Perfect!
We really enjoyed this trip up the Tartali Mountains. We were picked up promptly in time and were allowed about 1.5hrs on top of the mountain. The driver was helpful on getting our vouchers exchanged for tickets clearly communicated the meeting time. The views up to the mountain and at the top are spectacular. It is worth bringing extra warm clothes as it is significantly colder than the base. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant if you want a drink or food when you get to the top. If you have half a day in Antalya and want to take in some beautiful views of the city, I would highly recommend it.
The pick-up and drop-off were perfectly on time with no issues at all. The overall trip was great, and my family and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend.

What to Expect from the Olympos Cable Car Tour

This experience centers around ascending Mount Tahtal, which was known as Olympos Mountain in ancient times, and rising to a height of 2,365 meters. For anyone who loves mountain scenery or wants a break from the beaches, this is an excellent choice. The journey begins with a scenic drive along pine-lined forest roads, culminating at the cable car station at 726 meters altitude.
From there, you’ll hop into the cable car for a roughly 15-minute ascent that delivers spectacular views on the way up. As the cabins glide up the mountain, you’ll get sweeping vistas of the coastline, the mountains, and the lush landscape below. Once at the summit, you’ll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, and breathe in the crisp mountain air.
The Route and the Scenery
The drive to the cable car station itself is part of the charm. It’s about 7km along a forest road winding through the Bey Mountains National Park, giving you a taste of the wilderness before reaching the station. The ride offers views over the Mediterranean’s coastline and the chance to spot local wildlife—mountain goats, birds of prey, and perhaps some smaller critters.
Travelers have remarked on the spectacular vistas. One reviewer noted, “Stunning views overlooking the snow-capped mountains,” which really captures the essence of what you’ll see from the top. Even on cloudy days, many still found the experience worthwhile, though clear weather definitely enhances the view.
The Summit and What You’ll Do There
Once at the peak, you’ll have ample time to wander, take photographs, and soak up the scenery. You might also want to be prepared for the cold—some reviews mention that it can be “very, very cold on the top,” so packing a jacket or layers is advisable. The flexibility of the experience means you can spend about 1.5 hours at the summit, making it a relaxed half-day activity.
Very Good, transport was comfortable and we had plenty of time to explore the Olympus, highly recommend
The trip to Tahtali Mountain was a great morning activity. We met with the transport at a hotel that was more central than where we were staying and this collected all of the other guests and took us to the base of the mountain to take the cable car. We were given a generous amount of time at the summit to take everything in and then we returned down to the specified meeting point for our journey back. The guide was clear with the time and location of the pick up for the journey home and we were left to explore how we wished. Really enjoyed it and weather was amazing. Learned lots about the mountains.
Transfer was on time, clean and had working AC. Driver also helped to get tickets. Ride was amazing and on top of the mountain are breath taking views
Wildlife and Nature
Animal lovers will appreciate the chance to spot mountain goats or birds of prey, which adds an element of nature watching to this scenic outing. The area’s natural setting is part of what makes the experience special, especially for those who enjoy being in the mountains away from city bustle.
The Practicalities: Transportation, Price, and Timing

The tour offers an option for hotel pickup and drop-off, which scores points for convenience. Travelers have generally found this to be seamless, with drivers helping exchange vouchers and communicating clearly about timing. The price of $48 per person covers the cable car ticket alone, which is reasonable compared to other mountain excursions.
The ticket is valid for one day only, so planning to go in the morning might give you the best weather and more time at the top. It’s worth checking availability beforehand, as starting times can vary. The experience lasts roughly around 1.5 hours at the summit, which is enough to enjoy the views without feeling rushed.
The Value of the Experience
Considering the price, you’re paying mainly for the ride and the vistas. As one reviewer put it, “Great experience! The working time was up to 15:30, but it worked fine up to 18:00 at the time of visiting,” which implies some flexibility depending on the season. For many, the cost is justified by the breathtaking scenery and the chance to enjoy a peaceful mountain escape.
Real Traveler Perspectives
Many reviews praise the overall organization and the quality of the ride. One summed it up well: “Very well organized and all on time. The cable car experience was like something out of a movie,” highlighting how smooth and memorable the ride can be. Others appreciated the convenience, with comments like, “Pick-up from our hotel and nice drive to the cable car,” making the whole outing straightforward.
A few noted that it’s not a guided tour, so if you’re expecting detailed commentary, you might find that missing. However, some still enjoyed the experience for its simplicity and natural beauty.
Who Will Love This Tour?
