Plus, the transport is described as convenient and comfortable, which makes the whole day feel stress-free. This activity was truly the highlight of our trip! Every stop was magical—the waterfalls were stunning, and the final swimming spot was so pristine we wished we could have stayed longer. Jay was wonderful—helpful, kind, and very considerate of family time. He gave us plenty of time at each site, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything was both fun and safe. The website says swimming shoes are highly recommended, but I’d say they’re essential. We happened to find some at a nearby shop the night before, and we were so glad we had them!

This tour seems best suited for travelers who enjoy a mix of light hiking, swimming, and taking in spectacular scenery with a small group. If you’re after a straightforward, guided day in nature that doesn’t break the bank, this could be just what you’re looking for.

An In-Depth Look at the Waterfalls Tour

From Calpe, Javea & Denia- Discover the 3 Waterfalls of Anna - An In-Depth Look at the Waterfalls Tour

If you love nature and are craving a genuine outdoor experience, this trip covers all the bases. Starting from Calpe, Javea, or Denia, the journey takes around 80 minutes by van, giving you a chance to relax and chat with your small group before the real adventure begins. When you arrive in Anna, there’s a quick safety briefing, then it’s straight into exploring the waterfalls.

The Itinerary Breakdown

The tour features three main stops, each offering something unique:

Gorgo Gaspar – The first stop is often the most tranquil, and for good reason. This waterfall spills into a quiet pool, surrounded by rocks and lush greenery. We loved how peaceful this spot is — it’s a great way to ease into the day. The guided walk here is about 10 minutes, giving you enough time to take some photos or just enjoy the serenity.

Cascada de los Vikingos – This one’s a visual showstopper. Known for its dramatic cascade, it’s the perfect spot to relax in the pools beneath the waterfall. While diving isn’t allowed here, you can definitely sit, soak, and admire the powerful flow of water. You get about an hour of free time, so you can lounge in the pools or snap some shots of the striking scenery. The hike involved is only 10 minutes, but be aware that the terrain can be a bit rugged.

Cascada del Salto – The final stop is the most famous and breathtaking. This waterfall dramatically plunges into a deep, clear pool, framed by rocky cliffs and greenery. It’s a prime photo-op and a great place to cool off. Here, the opportunity to swim or even jump into the water really adds a touch of thrill. The hike here is also around 10 minutes, but the staircase leading down could be tricky for those with mobility issues.

Jace, onze gids was fantastisch. Well done Jace!

A really nice trip with a great and service-minded guide. The area with the water falls was really nice, and the places we went to afterwards was really special perls. You should think that this was an area full of tourists, but it was not, and it felt like a tour off the beaten path. This is the best activity we have had in this part of Spain.

What to Expect at Each Waterfall

You’ll love the way each waterfall has its own vibe. Gorgo Gaspar is calm and scenic, perfect for an easy start. Cascada de los Vikingos is more dramatic and lively, ideal for those who want to relax in beautiful surroundings. Cascada del Salto offers the most spectacular views and the best swimming opportunities, making it the highlight for many guests.

Guides are well-versed and enthusiastic, making sure you see the best spots while keeping safety in mind. One reviewer even mentioned how their guide, Jay, “took great pictures of us jumping off the cliffs,” adding a fun and personal touch to the experience.
