This particular experience, offered by Bellaturca Tour, has earned a stellar 4.9 out of 5 from over 300 reviews, which is no small feat.
It promises an efficient, well-organized way to take in some of Turkey’s most iconic sights, from fairy chimneys to underground cities, all wrapped up in a comfortable package.
What we really appreciate about this trip is how it combines ease and immersive experiences — flights and transfers are handled for you, and you get a guide to help make sense of the incredible sights. Plus, the inclusion of museum tickets and two lunches means you’re set for a practical, enjoyable taste of Cappadocia.
This trip was way more perfect than I ever imagined. Cappadocia’s stunning landscape, together with the friendly and professional local team, gave me an unforgettable experience — even for someone as picky as me. I stayed at Fresco Cave Suites & Mansions, and honestly, I didn’t expect much at first. But the moment I arrived, I was amazed — the cave hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and full of charm. The staff were warm, polite, and made me feel right at home. My hot air balloon ride was canceled because of the weather, but that made me respect this place even more. They truly put safety before profit, which says a lot about their professionalism. Our guide, Barış Şahin, w…
Everything was perfect and good organized. We had amazing time. Guides and drivers were great and hotel was very nice too. We decided to skip hot air balloon ride due to the high price that day, but we saw all those places during our tour and it was stunning.
Unfortunately both my husband and I fell ill during this trip. I can’t give high enough praise to the tour company for arranging support and making sure that our transfer back to Istanbul was seamless. On another note, what we saw of Cappadocia was amazing and the hotel accommodation perfect. We hope to come again and complete the tour and experience a balloon ride.
One thing to keep in mind is that the tour doesn’t include hot air balloon rides, which are a big draw in Cappadocia but are priced separately and depend on weather conditions. That’s worth considering if a balloon flight is high on your wish list.
This tour works best for travelers who want a comprehensive, stress-free overview of Cappadocia without committing to multiple days on the ground or trying to piece together logistics themselves.
It’s especially suited to those with limited time, first-timers eager for highlights, or anyone who appreciates good organization and guided insights. Now, let’s get into what makes this experience so appealing—and what to watch out for.

A Practical Breakdown of the 2-Day Cappadocia Trip

This tour from Istanbul is designed as a compact, yet comprehensive, way to see Cappadocia’s most famous sights. Here’s how it all unfolds, and what you can expect at each stage.
Great guide and very responsive to the group’s preference! The accommodations were just beautiful and the sights unforgettable. The optional balloon ride was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Everything was seamless from the pickup to the drop off. They were also quick to respond to every question in the planning as well.z Highly recommend and worth every penny!
We had 2 days tour and it was well organized and it's good that we book 2 day tour because in one day it's not possible to see all the buty of Kapadokia. Guides were very knowledgeable. We spend a night in a Fresco cave hotel, not our usual type of accommodation that we are used to but for somebody that is a fan of traditional (old) type of rooms, will be perfect.
Omer our guide was fantastic. A font of knowledge about geology, history, religious history and iconography. Was very willing (and able) to answer questions. And on our second day when there was just four of us in the group so we peppered him! Accommodation at Fresco was superb. Transportation arrangements and communication were excellent and comprehensive . One small transport hiccup we had was responded to very rapidly. One small suggestion. Maybe have a way to bulk transport water and encourage guests to bring their own water bottle to cut down on single use plastic.

Day 1: Flying to Cappadocia and Starting the Adventure
Your journey begins with a domestic flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia. The tour takes care of your roundtrip plane tickets, making the logistics straightforward. Once in Cappadocia, your guide will be waiting at the airport to transfer you to the first sightseeing stop. You’ll be on the move almost immediately, so packing comfortable shoes and sun protection is a good idea.
What’s especially helpful here is the skip-the-line museum tickets included in the package. This means no wasting time waiting at busy sites, which is a real bonus when you’re trying to maximize your short time in the area.
The Goreme Open Air Museum is a major highlight, featuring rock-carved churches decorated with ancient frescoes. Visitors often remark on how well-preserved and evocative these sites are, like stepping into a fairy tale.
Walking Among Fairy Chimneys and Valleys
After exploring the open-air museum, you’ll head to some of Cappadocia’s most photogenic locations: the Rose Valley, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley, and the pottery town of Avanos. These stops aren’t just about looks—they’re woven with local stories and crafts. For example, in Avanos, you might get a chance to see traditional pottery-making, which is a craft passed down through generations.
This was the best organised tour we have done in Turkey. Communication was great, we’ve been kept informed of all arrangements. We have received tickets, flight and transfer details in time. Our guide, Ahmed was friendly, very knowledgeable and made it a wonderful experience. The balloon flights were the highlight of the trip together with the churches at the museum. We stayed in an amazing hotel in Urgup. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you
Our guides, both named Ahmed, on day #1 and day #2 were both excellent!! Very knowledgeable in the sites visited and extremely friendly!!
the trip was excellent. very well organised times punctual and bus extremely comfortable. the guide was informative, good humoured and helpful. the co ordinator kept in touch all the time to ensure we were picked up etc. the hotel was fantastic. lunches very good too. if I was going again I would stay 2 nights to soak up this beautiful place. this was one of the most enjoyable tours I ever had. couldn't fault it
Many reviews highlight how engaging the guides are at explaining local customs, making these stops more meaningful than just sightseeing.
Day 2: Underground Cities and Scenic Highlights
The second day is packed with history and natural wonders. Visiting underground cities allows you to see how early Christians hid and worshipped underground. These underground complexes are surprisingly extensive, with tunnels, chambers, and even ventilation systems. Our sources confirm that guides are very knowledgeable, sharing detailed stories about the history and purpose of these subterranean sites.
Later, you’ll marvel at the fairy chimneys of Pasabag and Devrent Valley, which are like surreal sculptures crafted by nature. Many guests comment on how magical these landscapes look—snow-dusted in recent reviews, which adds a layer of enchantment.

The hotel options, like the Fresco Cave Suite or Solem Cave Suite, are praised for their comfort and character, allowing you to experience staying in a cave without sacrificing modern amenities.
However, the hot air balloon ride is extras. Many travelers find this to be the highlight of Cappadocia, but it’s priced separately and depends on weather—so don’t plan on it as part of the initial package. Also, drinks and dinners aren’t included, so you’ll want to budget extra if you plan to dine out in the evenings.

The tour features private or small group options, which many reviews say make the experience more personable and flexible. The transportation is comfortable, and the guides are praised for their friendliness and knowledge. What an amazing place. We were treated like royalty , throughout our trip. Would definitely recommend this experience. So much to see and learn.
Excellent tour. Logistics were flawless. Hotel was beautiful. Meals were incredible. Transportation was comfortable. and the sights and stories were once in a lifetime experiences.
We had 2 great days tour of Kapadokya, with Ahmed and Omer , who were both excellent guides. I love the cave homes, mushroom rocks, imagination and pigeon valleys, the underground city, the Fairyland with all the history and stories. The recent snow all over made Kopadokya looked so magical. We had two delicious Turkish lunches. We stayed overnight at the beautiful Fresco cave suite in Urdup, enjoyed the excellent scenery outside our door and woke up to a golden sunrise over the valley. Fresco has the best breakfast too. This experience was unforgettable, A++++. Just have to come back for the Hot Air Balloon and hope weather is agreeable.
