I really enjoyed the half-day tour to Toledo. The only negative was the weather, but that is to be expected for this time of the year. Arantxa is very knowledgeable about the history of Toledo, and was v patient with our photo-taking efforts. Toledo is a not-to-missed venue, with its delightful blend of culture, history and nature. Arantxa was especially lively she we were in the main cathedral and the art gallery. I was somewhat ignorant of the story behind El Greco but not anymore. Amazed by the treasury made from pure gold and gems. The bus ride was v comfortable and the drive was expertly handled.
Miguel
It was a great trip from the beginning to the end. Transportation was very comfortable, the driver was very good and the guide was very prepared, structured and professional. Arantxa knows a lot about the city history, monuments and important characters and was great in explaining to us about it. It was formidable.
Anna
Great tour. Couch bus, comfortable 1 hour ride. You can buy bottled water from them. No bathroom on the bus but there are bathrooms in Toledo along the route of the tour. Total tour was 8 hours ( 9 am-5 pm). Knowledgeable guide. City streets were a bit difficult to walk for some elderly participants, but everyone made it up to the top of the city. Synagogue and Cathedral are beautiful, worth going inside.

On the flip side, a few travelers note that timing can be tight, and the schedule might rush through some attractions, especially during busy periods or if the group is large. It’s worth considering if you prefer a more leisurely pace or more time for exploring on your own.

This tour seems tailor-made for visitors who want a structured introduction to Toledo’s historic core — perfect if you’re short on time but still want a taste of the city’s religious and cultural tapestry.

It was exactly as described. We left on time from Madrid and arrived in Toledo. We stopped at a viewpoint to see the entire city. Then we walked around and visited several sites, including the Jewish quarter, the El Greco Museum, and the cathedral. We had two hours to explore the city on our own—to eat, shop, or simply enjoy the surroundings. The only downside, which was expected, was the weather—it was 100 degrees and extremely hot, which made sightseeing a bit difficult. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative.
Susie
Guide Aranxta was excellent. Lunch was a bit too late. Time in the Cathedral was too long

Everything was excellent, especially our guide Arancia! Toledo is beautiful city but without Arancia we could not know it better. We heard many historical facts about Toledo, Madrid and Spain. All in all we were very satisfied.

The route takes you through the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a lively square that’s great for people-watching and soaking in the atmosphere. From here, you’ll visit the Toledo Cathedral, a prime example of Gothic architecture with its ornate retable and stunning interior decorations.

Many reviews mention the cathedral’s impressive features, especially the influence of Mudejar style, which reflects Toledo’s cross-cultural history.

Very comfortable bus, lots of legroom & reclining seats. Audio on bus was good and headphones during the tour worked well and were comfortable in ears. Guide was very knowledgeable and very personable, well planned stops, ample time to eat & do some shopping despite the rain! Pick up & drop off went smoothly. Highly recommended.

Rapha our guide conducted everything very smoothly!

Visiting El Greco’s Church of San Tome is another highlight, especially for art enthusiasts. The large painting by El Greco shows his signature elongated figures and dramatic style, helping you appreciate one of Spain’s most treasured artists.

Felix
It was great to cover so much of Toledo in such a short space of time. Our guide Aranxa was well informed, friendly and considerate and kept us out of the blazing heat. A lot to take in all in one hit, but overall it was a great experience!
Valentin
We have enjoyed walking on the streets of ancient Toledo and got an impresive lesson of history, many thanks to Oscar/Beatrice, our guide. Listening his explanation about each place was like watching a movie were you see the life and events of Toledo over the centuries. Thanks also to our driver Miguel who took care that we travel in safe conditions. Reccomandation to the travel agency: despite the request from our guides to be time at the meeting point, we had to wait two ladies and we almost missed an activity which was scheduled after the trip. To avoid such unpleasant events the bus should not wait after the announced departure time. Or make these people pay a fine for delaying all trave…
