Cyril was one of the best excursion guides we have ever experienced! Incredibly knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. We had a great group of uniques families and Cyril had us all smiling and having the time of our lives by the end of the evening. The lunch served was fantastic and so unique in our small medieval town. We learned so much we are still talking about it, and will be for days to come. Thank you Cyril for our small adventure!

What an excellent day out this was! The scenery from the train during the trip was amazing and the medieval villages we visited were simply stunning. Everywhere we went was so beautiful and so peaceful, with scarcely any other tourists to be seen. Special mention must go to our guide Carmela who was absolutely wonderful. She made the landscape come alive with her stories and history, and made us all laugh with her great sense of humour. She took great care in ensuring that we were all well looked after during the day, not only as a group but also managing to find time to speak to ever single one of us individually which was a lovely thing to do. There were regular stops for refreshments and …

The entire trip was fabulous and much more than we expected. Our guide Carnela could not have been better with her efficiency, history knowledge, ability to create harmony within the group, kind and patient with our numerous questions. I highly recommend this trip; however, you need to be in relatively good physical shape to perform the hike and climbing to the citadel if you choose.

Our guide Cyril was wonderful, the perfect host and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day

Guide was absolutely fantastic all day. So knowledgeable. He was amazing

Cyril was an absolutely incredible guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and went of out his way to make sure everyone on the tour was happy. For us, having Cyril as our guide made the tour! We visited La Brigue and Saorge, one destination more beautiful than the next. The tour was adaptable, and rather than hike up to the church in La Brigue, we were able to take a comfortable shuttle bus to meet the rest of the group at the top. The lunch was delicious, and there were plenty of toilet stops across the day too. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and anyone who has Cyril as their guide on the day is very lucky!
