Viola , our guide, was excellent as was John the driver. Comfortable coach and places of interest pointed out during the journey together with interesting facts about Cyprus and its history.
BORYANA
Very well organized excursion with excellent tour guide- Vilola. Within one day, you get an insight into three very different cities in Cyprus with their sights, history and atmosphere.
Thorsten
It was a very enjoyable and comprehensive tour, expertly led by our guide Viola. In addition to the wonderful insights into the various locations, there was also ample information provided during the drive and sightseeing. There was also plenty of free time to explore the places on our own or to enjoy a meal. The tour is highly recommended

That said, a potential consideration is the length—this is quite a packed itinerary, so be ready for a full, sometimes lengthy day.

This trip probably suits travelers who enjoy a mix of sightseeing and some structured comfort, especially if you’re keen on learning about Cyprus without doing all the legwork yourself. It’s good for those who like having a guide to share stories and insights, and for anyone curious about the island’s divided capital, Nicosia.

A Closer Look at the Tour Experience

This tour kicks off with a hotel pickup—an advantage for those who want hassle-free transport, especially since some pickups are within a 5-minute walk, which is convenient if you’re staying in central Paphos. The group then heads out on a coach to explore some of Cyprus’s most beloved spots.

Lefkara Village: Art, Lace, and Silver

First stop is Lefkara, renowned for its intricate lacework and silver craftsmanship. Walking through the narrow, stone-paved streets, you get a real feel for local life and tradition. Many reviews note that this stop is picturesque and a highlight of the day. It’s a chance to snap photos of charming houses and maybe pick up a handmade souvenir.

Reviewers also mention the guide’s ability to bring the village’s history and craftsmanship to life, which elevates the experience from just a walk.

A common theme in reviews is how much visitors appreciate the guide’s knowledge—one reviewer described their guide as “amazing, with a lot of experience and knowledge.” This really helps make the visit more meaningful, especially when you get insights into local customs and crafts.

The day was very good. This was my second tour with Constructour and with Vionna and Andreas. Our guide Vionna as usual shared a lot of details about history and culture which was good to know. Only thing that I wanted was spending bit more time at each of the places, but I understand as we had to cover many places within the day so we were given less time to spend at each stops.
Colin
The variety of places visited. A bit too much information given on board the bus – overwhelmed at some points but realised getting the balance right is difficult. Maybe an option could be to email out a crib sheet of key facts for the day ahead of the trip.

I enjoyed the whole trip and Viola was an excellent guide. I did however think the described 9 hour day was incorrect as I was the first pickup at 7.55am and therefore the last at just after 19.15pm. My calculations would make that over 11 hours. I don't think time could have been taken away at each stop so I can only conclude traffic was the problem and this hadn't been taken into account by the organisers. Maybe the time taken to do the pickups wasn't included but even so we should have been warned and even then the tour ran over. I was extremely lucky that I got to my dinner booking as my friends had delayed it to accommodate me. On the whole a really good trip spoiled by incorrect inform…

Salt Lake and Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque: Nature and Serenity

Next, the tour takes you to the Larnaca Salt Lake, one of the most scenic spots on the island. You can look out for flamingos, which some travelers mention would have been better with binoculars or more time to explore close-up. The view of the salt lake combined with the nearby Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque makes for compelling scenery and photos.

Many reviewers note this as a highlight—"a famous salt lake with a beautiful view"—and some wished they had more time to walk along the lakeside or get closer.

The Church of Saint Lazarus: Religious and Cultural Significance

This church, built in the late 9th century, is a major landmark in Larnaca. Visitors love the chance to see such an ancient structure, with some noting the opportunity to touch relics and wash their face with holy water—an experience that feels deeply connected to local customs. The church’s age and significance offer a tangible link to the past, and many reviews remark on the peaceful, spiritual atmosphere.

Nicosia: A Capital Divided

The final major stop is Nicosia, the world's only divided capital. Crossing the Green Line, travelers get a sense of the island’s complex history. Walking through the old part of Nicosia, you’ll find cobbled streets, historic buildings, and the chance to see the border between Greek and Turkish-controlled areas.

Reviewers who have been there note the importance of bringing a passport if you wish to cross into the Turkish-occupied section—something that adds a real-world dimension to the visit.

The guide’s insights into the city’s divided past make this stop more than just sightseeing; it’s a lesson in modern history.

Practicalities and Considerations

The tour lasts roughly 9 hours, starting with hotel pickups and ending back at your accommodation. It’s designed to be a full-day experience, so be prepared for a lot of sitting and some walking. The bus is air-conditioned, which is a real plus in the Cyprus heat, but some reviews mention that the comfort could be improved—like cleaner windows and better seats.

Food isn’t included, so bringing water and some snacks is advisable. Also, some reviews mention that the tour might run a little longer due to delays or extra stops, with some travelers feeling it’s slightly lengthy—up to 11 hours in total. That’s worth considering if you prefer shorter, more relaxed outings.

The Guide and Group Dynamic

The guides are a standout feature—most reviews highlight their friendliness, knowledge, and ability to answer questions. One reviewer simply said, “Galina was the most incredible guide,” emphasizing the positive impact of having someone who truly knows the local history and customs. Several reviews appreciated the driver’s careful driving and the overall smoothness of the trip.

That said, punctuality and respecting everyone's time is something to keep in mind. A few travelers mentioned waiting for latecomers, which slightly stretched the day. It’s a reminder that group tours often depend on punctuality for a smooth experience.

The Price and Value

While the cost isn’t specified here, reviews suggest this is a good value for a full-day guided experience—covering major sights, transportation, and a knowledgeable guide. It’s a practical way to see a lot without the stress of self-driving or organizing multiple tickets.
