Best day out ever. Well worth the money. Smooth transfer from hotel to boat. The boat captain and staff in the boat created a really fun and happy environment. It was very inclusive. The captain spoke German, French, English and Spanish. We saw dolphins. And took a lunch break which included kayaking, swimming, snorkelling and stand up paddle boats. The whole trip was great fun for all the family.

What a Brilliant team on the Odyssee3. Friendly, Welcoming and very Entertaining. the boat is well maintained which options to sit top deck, middle or bottom smoking area at the back and 2 toilets. Bar and food. So much wildlife to see at sea. Saw a flying fish! (that was not the beer 🤣) Dolphins, birds, fish and flying fish. Plenty of time for a swim too. Top deck platform to jump off. Slide and steps to use. We had a really enjoyable time and would definitely book this again
Bart
The crew definitely deserves a raise. Everything was perfectly organized and professional from start to finish. We saw so many dolphins that it was honestly impossible to count them all. It was an amazing experience, especially seeing Atlantic dolphins in their natural habitat. Highly recommended.

But, a potential consideration is that the actual wildlife sightings depend on the day’s conditions—this isn’t a guaranteed wildlife show, but it’s pretty common to spot something memorable.

This tour tends to suit travelers who love a mix of activities—wildlife, water sports, and good food—and those who appreciate a flexible, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s especially appealing if you want to enjoy the sea, see marine life, and break up your day with a tasty meal, all in one smooth experience.

If you’re outside these areas, the local operator will communicate your pickup point and time after your booking, so that’s worth keeping an eye on.

The crew, often praised for their friendliness and professionalism, makes sure everyone feels welcomed. The boat’s glass-bottom deck is the star of the show, giving you a peek below the waterline without getting wet.

From there, you’ll hopefully catch sightings of dolphins, whales, or even sea turtles—something that reviews repeatedly mention as a highlight.

Excellent atmosphere created by the team, took us out to where they knew there’d be Dolphins & Whales and we saw lots of them. Catered for all (Young, Old & in-between) non stop supply of drinks & lunch was prepped during our stop for swim & activities. Really recommend
Gareth
unfortunately no whales or dolphins were seen on our trip. but you book this kind of trip knowing this might be the case. the crew are super friendly and funny. they entertain their passengers brilliantly. when stopped for a bit of swimming kayaks and other items were provided. enjoyed this boat trip and would probably do it again.
Josephine
The trip was lovely! It was well organised, the staff were very friendly and we had a great time whale watching and swimming. It was lovely that there were additional activities available at the swimming stop, like snorkeling and a slide off the end of the boat. The size of the group was good and the boat never felt crowded. The only thing that we think could be improved is including coffee and tea in the price, rather than making it an extra cost.

Elizabeth’s review sums it up: “We were lucky enough to see a sperm whale and a whole pod of dolphins from both the rooftop of the boat as well as the glass bottom.”

Wildlife Spotting and Marine Encounters

One of the main reasons people choose this tour is the chance to observe marine wildlife. The boat's route through the Janía Natural Park means prime waters for spotting these creatures. However, it’s important to remember that wildlife sightings are not guaranteed—they depend on the day’s conditions and animal movement.

Still, the reviews are full of stories about dolphins swimming alongside or whales breaching nearby, which makes it worthwhile even if your goal is just the experience of being out on the water.

Water-Fun and Additional Activities

After some time cruising, the boat anchors for a variety of water-based activities. You’ll find snorkeling gear, kayaks, and paddle surf boards, which you can use to explore the calmer waters.

Many reviews mention the water activities as a surprising bonus—Sofia notes that “the number of water activities available such as kayaks, snorkeling etc. was impressive.” If you’re traveling with kids or just enjoy being in the water, this part of the trip adds a lot to the overall value.
