I had a wonderful experience with Viator and my tour guide Francois. Viator was flexible and changed my tour to the day after when I got stuck in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence due to a public holiday and lack of buses to Avignon. The wine tour was great and very educational (as well as delicious of course) and the second half of the tour to small villages across Provence was perfect to see more of the area without a car. First of all our guide Jeremy was so knowledgeable and friendly, he pointed out a lot of interesting landmarks between Avignon and the Chateauneuf du pape region and told us a few things about the wine regions around the area. Both wine tasting were fantastic, we learned a lot about the grapes of the area and really enjoyed getting to taste a variety of different local varieties. The towns of Gordes, Rousillon and Menerbes were all beautiful and we loved walking around the areas and seeing the local sights. This trip is definitely worth it if you're looking to get that real 'provence' feel!
