Doing things as a family we have never done before rhe horse and atv and zipline were awesome. The only thing we wished was that we would have gotten good pics as a family under the waterfall. But all in all great experience. We did feel a little rushed though due to over booking and travels got to our activity 30 minutes late.

The cenote, zip line, and ATV was fun. The horse back riding was not. The description stated you will ride in the Mayan jungle and along the Caribbean Sea. We rode in the jungle-ish but there was no sea- should we get back partial refund? Also, the ride was really boring. I’ve done other horse back rides and in some parts of the trail your horse would gallop faster which was the fun part. This particular ride was not fun at all- no galloping. It was just hot and slow- basically rode a lap around a ranch. I would recommend another tour. Also, there was no sanitation protocols in place. From the life jackets at the cenote to the helmets at the zip line. It was definitely not sanitary.

Transportation was late and had to sit in the middle seat between the driver and the passenger other than that everything else was good the horse did get scared and went faster because the part where you put your foot on hit a pole and scared me and the horse the guide did check on me to see if I was ok and I told her yea had a good experience with the atvs because in Cabo I got stuck in the sand and couldn’t continue driving zip lining was good the people had to stop you unlike Puerto Rico where a block stops you the centoe was fun to jump in the tequila tasting I liked the Carmel flavor one he gave a lot of good information about tequila the pork tacos were good I left my shoes in the va…

Plus, the fact that it’s suitable for all skill levels makes it accessible for most travelers, whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or a first-timer. We also appreciate the inclusion of snacks and soft drinks, along with hotel pickup, making logistics a bit easier.

That said, one thing to consider is some travelers have felt a little rushed, especially if the tour is overbooked or if transportation is delayed. And, as some reviews point out, the horseback riding part might not be as exciting or long as some might hope. If you’re looking for a leisurely, in-depth ride, this might be more of a quick taste rather than a full experience.

This tour seems best suited for those who want a fun-packed day with a mix of activities and aren’t overly concerned about missing a perfect photo op or having a very relaxed pace. It’s suitable for adventure lovers, groups, or anyone wanting to tick off multiple highlights in a single day.

Horseback Riding: A Gateway to Nature

The horseback riding component is often the first activity, giving you a chance to get comfortable on a horse, regardless of your experience. Visitors have mentioned that the ride is suitable for all skill levels, including complete beginners. The guide takes you through the jungle, offering insights into the local flora and fauna. Some reviews, however, suggest that the horseback ride itself might be a shorter or less intense part of the whole experience — but still enjoyable, especially in the company of a knowledgeable guide.

One reviewer expressed that the horses are well looked after and that the guide makes an effort to learn about each rider’s experience. The scenery is lush and vibrant, with opportunities to see monkeys and exotic birds. It’s a nice way to start the day, connecting with nature while riding a sturdy horse.

ATV Adventure: Power through the Jungle

Next up is the ATV ride, which tends to be a highlight for thrill-seekers. You’ll get helmets and possibly some instruction before hitting the trails. Many travelers find this part exhilarating, especially as you accelerate through the jungle paths. A review mentioned that the ATVs are "worn but fun," with some noting that their ATVs had issues like brake problems or minor mechanical faults.

While the ATV ride is generally appreciated for its adrenaline rush, some reviewers have noted it’s a shorter ride — so don’t expect an hour-long trek. Still, it’s a great way to feel the wind and get your heart pumping, especially if you love off-road tracks.

Zip-Lining: Soar Through the Air

The zip-line portion is often praised as fun and well-guided. You’ll be provided with helmets and harnesses, and the guides tend to be friendly and professional. Reviewers have described the zip lines as "challenging and exciting," with good instruction on safety. This is usually a quick but exhilarating part of the tour, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the jungle canopy.

Cenote Swim: Refreshing Ending

No Mexican adventure would be complete without a swim in a cenote, and this tour includes a dip in crystal-clear waters. It’s an ideal spot to relax and cool off after all the activity. The cenote water is described as refreshing and clean, with lifejackets provided. Some reviews mention that the time allocated for swimming might be brief, but overall, it’s a peaceful and scenic way to wrap up your adventure.

Artisan Gum-Making & Local Insights

Adding a touch of local culture, the tour includes a short lesson in how chewing gum is made locally, which many find interesting. Also, you might get to sample some tequila, enhancing the overall authentic feel of the experience.

What’s the Value Like?

At $129 per person, this experience offers quite a bit. You’re getting multiple activities, transportation, snacks, drinks, and a local guide — all in one package. Many reviewers feel that the price is fair, especially considering the convenience of hotel pickup and the variety of experiences packed into a single tour.

However, some point out that the photo options are limited, as cameras aren’t allowed during activities, forcing you to rely on guides or purchased photos if you want souvenirs of your trip. Also, the short duration of each activity means this isn’t an all-day adventure but rather a fast-paced, activity-packed trip.

Potential Drawbacks

A few guests have mentioned feeling rushed or experiencing delays with transportation, especially during busy times or overbooking. One review even noted that the horseback ride didn’t align with the description of riding along the Caribbean Sea, which might disappoint those expecting more beach riding.

Another point to consider is that if you’re looking for a long, relaxed horseback ride, this tour might fall short. It’s more of a quick introduction to several activities rather than an in-depth experience of each.
