The option for round-trip transportation from Madrid makes it a lot more convenient for those staying in the capital, saving you the hassle of planning your own transfer.
Awesome! Though the wind blew us a farther from Toledo, it was not a loss. Cava and the snack after was nice!
The weather was not cooperating but the tour company was excellent with communication and was able to reschedule me in a different but agreeable location on a different day. The experience was absolutely magical. The pilot made sure to spin the balloon so that everyone got to see all the important sites. He made sure we got a unique view of the land and the clouds. The landing zone was an absolute picturesque site for the included brunch.
Very friendly and helpful people. Take off and landing was very smooth. Would recommend this operator aero tours to friends and family.
One thing to consider is the standing-only basket — if you’re not comfortable on your feet or have mobility issues, this might not be ideal. Also, as with all balloon rides, the schedule depends on the weather, which can mean some flexibility or rescheduling. But overall, this tour tends to suit those who enjoy a mix of gentle adventure, beautiful scenery, and a touch of Spanish hospitality.
If you’re someone who loves unique perspectives of historic sites, appreciates good photos, and doesn’t mind standing during a flight, this experience could be just right. It’s especially appealing if you’re traveling with friends or family, looking for a memorable highlight in Toledo.

The team was friendly, responsive, efficient and did everything they could to make our flight delightful. Segovia is spectacular from the air.
This was a unique experience. However, my expectation was a bit different than what was delivered. First off, they crammed 5 adults into each small corner. I hardly had room for my feet, and one girl had to sit on her husbands lap for landing! I truly expected the ride to go over the beautiful town of Toledo. My mistake. It was in the distance and mostly a country side view. It would have been nice to have had the balloon more ready upon arrival, rather than to wait for the 30 minutes+ set up time and the same at the end. At least for the cost! Maybe if I wasn’t so cold…it would have been more pleasant. I still loved the experience…a first for my son and I, but for the cost-it could …
Great experience.Beautiful ride. Expert guide greatt pilot forgot his name and co pilot I called him Aquaman. Great tapas with delicious Humus .
The optional transport from Madrid can be added, which is great for travelers staying in the city. This upgrade simplifies your day—no need to arrange your own transfer or worry about navigating to Toledo.
One notable aspect from reviews is how friendly and professional the team is, with many travelers praising the pilot Emmanuel or Nyx. Their calm demeanor and expertise help make the experience smooth, especially for first-timers.
The Flight Itself — What You’ll See
The launch takes place at Recinto Ferial de La Peraleda, very close to the Tajo River. As you ascend, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of Toledo’s historic walls and the Alcázar, which are especially impressive from above. You might even see the city’s winding streets and towers from a perspective few get to enjoy.
The iconic sights include the ancient walls and the Alcázar de Toledo. Reviews mention how Segovia was also visible when the flight was diverted due to weather, and travelers found that view equally spectacular.
the whole team is amazing, the actual ride was incredible, the views of Segovia will blow your mind, they were so helpful when I told them I was proposong they went above and beyond to make the whole experience perfect thank you Nyx, Danny and your whole crew amazing!!!
Due to weather I was transferred to Segovia. Trip started at 7 am I had hotel pick up at 5 am. Everybody was friendly including our pilot Emmanuel. Trip was safe. It was more fun because there were 10 other balloons up that day. About an hour in the air and group helped pack up the ballon. Very light lunch, champagne toast and diploma included. Everything was perfect and fun. Only observation is that there was much food for lunch — a slice of toast and a slice of ham.
Manuela.
The Atmosphere in the Basket
Since there’s no seating — passengers stand during the entire flight — comfort varies depending on your mobility and preferences. Passengers have shared mixed experiences here: some found the ride very tranquil and smooth, describing the ascent and descent as “very safe” and “incredible.” Others noted that space is tight — five adults crammed into a small basket can be a squeeze.
One traveler who was wary of heights appreciated how calm and gentle the flight was, mentioning the pilot gave a strong sense of safety. For those anxious about standing or being in a small space, it’s worth considering this aspect.
The Post-Flight Celebration
After landing, many travelers enjoy the light lunch, champagne toast, and flight certificate. The lunch is a simple but hearty Spanish fare—some reviews mention a slice of toast and ham, which might seem modest but is part of the local charm. The champagne toast is a festive touch that makes the whole experience feel celebratory.
Weather and Schedule Variability
Balloon flights are, unsurprisingly, dependent on weather conditions. The tour’s schedule is flexible, and the actual timing can shift according to wind, temperature, or cloud cover. The company is transparent about this, and if the weather cancels your ride, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
Equipe excelente, muito atenciosos e pontuais. Especialmente com crianças. Serviço de ótima qualidade.
La primera elevación, ya que subimos y bajamos varias veces, y la profesionalidad y simpatía de Carlos, el piloto.
Booking Ahead and Popularity

A few reviews pointed out that the flight duration was slightly less than an hour (around 50 minutes), and a couple of people mentioned tight quarters in the basket.
Is It Worth the Price?
