Exploring Montenegro’s Coastal Charm: A Review of the Kotor Bay and Tivat Electric Car Tour

If you’re planning a trip to Montenegro, especially around the spectacular Bay of Kotor, you’ve probably come across various ways to see the sights. One option that’s gaining popularity is the Kotor: Bay of Kotor and Tivat Electric Car Tour offered by Topolino Montenegro. While I haven’t personally taken this exact tour, I’ve gathered enough details and traveler insights to give you a well-rounded picture of what to expect.

What I really like about this experience is the combination of eco-friendly transportation and the chance to cover several scenic spots in just three hours—perfect if your time is limited. Plus, the views of Our Lady of the Rocks and the surrounding bay seem to be a highlight for most travelers.

What an AMAZING tour! So much fun and such a cute little car! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made an exception to drop us back to our hotel after. Would definitely recommend this tour!

I absolutely loved this, I had hurt my knee but still wanted to see Kotor so this was perfect. It was the most fun thing I did on my 4 days there, the guide was really nice too, happy to take photos etc. The car itself is really fun to drive, especially around the winding roads, the guide is in front on a scooter and the cars follow behind, but they go at a fair pace, you drive for around 40 mins with a quick stop en route for photos, then have an hour in the port of Montenegro which is lovely then drive 40 mins back which felt perfect. I would strongly recommend. Remember to bring warm clothes as it gets windy but the guide had even text in the morning to advice this which was greatly appre…

On the flip side, a potential consideration is that since the tour is relatively short, it might feel a tad rushed, especially the stop at Porto Montenegro.

This tour works best for travelers who want a relaxed yet scenic overview of the Kotor area without committing to a full-day trip. If you’re someone who enjoys light guided experiences, picturesque scenery, and a dash of luxury, this could be a good fit.

Coastal Drive through Muo and Pranj

Your first stop is in Muo, a quaint fishing village just 15 minutes from the start. We loved the way the narrow streets and tiny harbor set the tone for what’s to come—this is Montenegro’s quiet, authentic side. Then, the journey continues to Tri Sorele Palace in Pranj, where you’ll stop for about 10 minutes to snap some photos of the beautiful surroundings.

Absolutely nothing could be improved although a suggestion if like us we came off the cruise ship maybe a pick up at the port would be a good idea

Our guided Fiat Topolino tour to Tivat was such a unique and memorable experience! From the moment we met our guide, Ivan, we knew we were in for something special. He was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole journey feel effortless and fun. Ivan’s stories and insights made it even more enriching. Riding in the charming and eye-catching Topolino was an absolute delight, it turns heads everywhere you go and is very fun to drive. We got to stop and take some pictures along the way and spend some time exploring Tivat. We recommend booking this tour around sunset time, when the views are nothing short of magical. An absolute must-do and can’t miss while in Montenegro!

Next, the tour moves through Pranj, Markov Rt, and Stoliv, each offering charming views and more photo opportunities. The entire drive here takes around 20 minutes, so it’s a relaxed pace that lets you soak in the scenery.
