This was one of my favourite activities to date. Captain Clayton and his crew were exceptional in service, care and of course, expert navigators. The food was local and fresh, as was the wine. It was a nice touch to sample local fare on the boat. I would recommend this to all.
It was a great day out, the service was excellent, food was amazing. Clayton and Casper are great in their services making sure that everyone is ok, drinks top up and we are all very happy with the sailing trip. Also Claire homemade chutney was so yummy, the platter box that she prepared just hit the spot for lunch. Thank you Pilgrim cruise for such a wonderful day out. Downsides for Consideration

While this cruise is generally well-loved, a few points are worth noting. The duration, at 4 to 6 hours, might feel a bit short for those wanting a longer day on the water. The itinerary is focused on relaxation and scenery; if you’re seeking more active adventures like snorkeling or diving, this might not be the best fit.
Also, the experience is primarily suited for those comfortable with a sailing vessel and onboard dining. Families with very young children or those sensitive to boat motion should consider their own comfort levels.

Compared to other Magnetic Island tours, such as reef snorkeling trips or bus tours, this experience offers a more intimate, relaxed alternative. It’s less about high-energy activities and more about unwinding, enjoying regional cuisine, and appreciating the coastline from a unique vantage point.
The small group size and personalized service, praised in many reviews, make it stand out. Plus, the chance to try steering the boat adds that fun, hands-on element that many guests love.
Pricing and Value

While the exact cost isn’t provided here, reviews frame this as a worthwhile investment for what you get: a high-quality vessel, gourmet food, local drinks, and a scenic route. The inclusions of unlimited drinks and local produce make it feel like good value, especially considering the personalized service and the opportunity to see wildlife and stunning scenery.
