If you’re planning a trip to Mallorca and looking for a day full of natural beauty, cultural highlights, and a touch of luxury, this tour hits all the marks. It’s designed for travelers who want to see more than just beaches — you’ll explore underground caves, enjoy classical music, and even peek into Mallorca’s renowned pearl industry.
What we really like about this experience is how it combines awe-inspiring sights like the Drach and Hams Caves with relaxed coastal charm in Porto Cristo. Plus, the visit to the Majorica Pearls Factory adds a lovely touch of local craftsmanship.
One thing to keep in mind is that the tour involves quite a lot of walking and a packed schedule, so it’s best suited for those with good mobility and an interest in sightseeing rather than lounging around. If you appreciate natural wonders, cultural touches, and a well-organized trip, this day tour could be just what you need.
It was a very good day with Tony and Mihai. I reccomand you visit both caves, they are different, in Hams the music is registered so you can take films, in Drach is alive music so cannot be filmed. Both are jaw dropping.
both caves are absolutely stunning, Hams is smaller and more intimate, Drach I bigger and classical music on lake is beautiful, feel that the stop at the pearl shop is totally unnecessary though and the extra time better spent at a longer stay at Porto Cristo which is lovely.
the transportation at the beginning was difficult! we arrived where we was told to go but no one was there, no guide or anything so we just had to wait, then a bus turned up from the company but again very little guidance, we were just told no this isn't our bus, go stand over there and wait! the good thing is the bus did turn up but it was a bit late! HOWEVER, please do not let that put you off this trip because once we were actually on it, it was just absolutely incredible and we both thoroughly enjoyed! it was 100% worth the money and I would go again!

Exploring Mallorca’s Natural Wonders

This tour begins with an early pickup from a choice of locations in the south of Mallorca, making it convenient whether you’re staying in Paguera, Magaluf, Palmanova, or nearby areas. The transportation is in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus, which is a real plus after a warm morning wandering underground.
The first stop is the Hams Caves, where you’ll spend about an hour marveling at the stalactites and stalagmites that look like fishhooks, along with the famous “Venetian Lake.” This cave isn’t just a pretty sight; it’s also steeped in history, adding a layer of intrigue to the experience.
The caves are large enough to feel expansive but intimate enough to appreciate the details. Based on reviews, visitors find the guides knowledgeable, making the visit both educational and visually impressive.
Next, you’ll head to the Drach Caves for about 1.5 hours. This is the highlight for many — walking through vast cavern chambers lit to showcase their grandeur. The main attraction here is Lake Martel, an underground lake on which a classical music concert is performed — a unusual and memorable feature. The caves maintain a steady 21°C year-round, so no worries about cold or heat.

What’s special about the caves?

Just unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
The trip was exciting, and the description of the journey corresponded to reality. The guide was professional and supportive. There was some confusion with the transportation. Namely, the description of the trip did not say that there would be a transfer in Palma de Mallorca. We were picked up from the closest place to the hotel in Paguera and drove towards Palma de Mallorca, where there was a transfer depending on the chosen trip. The positive thing was that we were brought back to the hotel without a transfer.
The Charm of Porto Cristo

After the caves, the tour takes you to Porto Cristo, a quiet fishing village that’s great for unwinding. Here, you'll have free time to stroll along the waterfront, enjoy the beaches, or grab a bite in one of the local cafes. Porto Cristo’s natural harbor and scenic views make it a peaceful contrast to the underground adventures.
Based on traveler feedback, many find this part especially relaxing — it’s a nice break after the caves. You might appreciate the chance to sit by the water, watch boats drift by, or explore the small streets. The relaxed pace means you’re not rushed, and the setting is picturesque enough to feel like a retreat from busier tourist spots elsewhere.
The Pearls of Mallorca

No trip to Mallorca would be complete without a peek into its famous Majorica Pearls Factory. Here, you get a glimpse of the craftsmanship that has made these pearls a symbol of Mallorca’s elegance. The shop is a treasure trove of finely crafted jewelry, and it’s a great opportunity to pick up a special souvenir or gift.
Visitors often enjoy the chance to learn about the history of Majorica pearls and see firsthand how they are created. The shop offers a variety of options, from classic to contemporary styles, ensuring there’s something for all.

Authentic Traveler Feedback

From reviews, we see a mix of praise and some minor hiccups. Many travelers highlight the guides and the stunning scenery as key highlights. One reviewer mentioned that the guide spoke five languages, making it accessible for diverse groups, and appreciated the ample time at each stop.
Another traveler appreciated the "stress-free" vibe of the day, noting their punctual pickup and the well-organized schedule. A slight drawback was that at times, the multilingual narration could be overwhelming, especially when trying to relax, but overall, it didn't spoil the experience.
One small hiccup was a guide forgetting a traveler during one part of the trip — a reminder that even well-organized tours can have small slip-ups, but they were quickly resolved.
