My mom and I had an amazing time!!! Our guide Gary was wonderful, would 100% recommend him and the tour!
The tour was wonderful. Loved visiting the wineries and tasting the different wines. The tour was excellent in every way. I highly recommend it.
The wineries were awesome. I wish the wineries had munchies for the tastings. Lunch was gulped down with no time for shopping or sight seeing. Our guide, Gary, was very helpful. Andrew at Lakeview was an amazing host giving us a deal. Pellietary downcharged us by swapping wines. Teaching Winery…was very informative with the teaching aspect. Wines were delicious at all 3 places; and Icewine was amazing. White & Red Icewine!
What really makes this tour appealing is its blend of scenic beauty and expert guidance. The lush countryside and charming towns are highlights, as is the chance to learn about local wines and history from passionate guides. Plus, the inclusive nature of the experience makes it accessible for all levels of wine knowledge.
On the flip side, some might find the limited timeframe a bit rushed, especially if you’re someone who loves to linger at each stop.
Still, for those wanting a manageable, engaging introduction to Niagara’s wine scene, this tour hits a lot of the right notes.
This experience tends to suit travelers who enjoy a relaxed, social outing with a bit of education and sightseeing thrown in. It’s especially good if you want a taste of local culture without committing to a full-day winery visit. Families with older children might enjoy it as well, but it’s primarily geared towards adults.

I’d have preferred more tours in the wineries facilities but the tasting was very good.
Excellent experience. Driver/the guide was great. Overall lovely experience.
Excellent service! Informative guide. This was our first wine tour and we loved it. The guide was especially nice and told us all about the winery and surrounding area.
Niagara College Teaching Winery
What sets this visit apart is the educational component. It’s a place where you can see the wine-making process firsthand and learn some basics about tasting. Many travelers found the insights valuable, especially those interested in the science behind winemaking.
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake

This quaint town is the perfect place for a quick stroll or a bite to eat. Voted the prettiest town in Canada, it offers charming streets lined with boutiques, cafes, and historic sites. You’ll typically have around an hour here, which many reviewers found sufficient for a quick exploration.
Some mentioned that the free time might feel rushed if you’re keen on shopping or sightseeing, but others appreciated having a snapshot of the town without it taking up the entire day.
The Value and Practicalities

At $111 per person, the price seems reasonable, especially considering the included tastings, transportation, and guided commentary. The tour’s reviews suggest that most guests feel they get good value—many praise the guides and scenic stops. However, a few found some wineries less engaging, or wished for more variety during tastings.
Our driver Lindsay was awesome! The wineries were nice, best peach wine I’ve tasted. Would recommend for sure and will be back!!
This tour was great! We had a great group. Even though there were a few different couplings everyone made it enjoyable. Our driver was the best. Kept our spirits up and knew so much. This was our first tour but not our last. Our only wish for it was that we wished we had more time in Niagara on the lake. By the time we ate we had no time left for shopping. If you shopped, you would not of had time to sit down.
It was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Mike "31" was a guide with full of informations. We learned lot of things about Niagara which we never knew before. We went for 3 wine tasting one with a tour. Only one negative, we got only 45 minutes to spend at Niagara on the lake which was just enough to finish our lunch. We wished to have little more time at least half an hour to walk around in the town. Mike was very happy to explain about each and everything and was very friendly.
The tour lasts four hours, which is a good balance between sightseeing and tasting. Plus, the option to reserve with pay later and cancel up to 24 hours in advance adds flexibility, especially if your plans aren’t final.

The Icewine, in particular, gets a lot of praise, described as “amazing.” However, some reviews pointed out less satisfying experiences, like the Pillitteri stop being “poor” or certain tastings feeling rushed or less personalized.
