Best snorkel adventure ever! Wonderful marine life with crystal clear water. We went also from Cairns but Agincourt reef is superior. Super professional staff with captain Sharky and excellent marine biologist.
The ride control system on the Silversonic ensures a smooth trip, even if the seas are a little choppy, which is a common concern for some travelers. If seasickness is a worry, bringing travel sickness tablets might be a good idea, especially since the crossing can be a bit lengthy.

From start to finish the staff were excellent, very friendly. Boat was in good condition everything explained and sorted. The 3 different sites were stunning and again the staff were sorted with information and ease of access for everyone. To see the whale shark briefly was a thing to remember.
It was great. We visited three sites and had plenty of time in the water. We lucked out in the weather so visibility was very good. The catering was excellent on the boat. It was a fantastic day. It was nice to be on a boat with fewer people comparing to the Quiksilver trip in my opinion. Thank you.
Multiple reviews mention that the staff are not only professional but also super knowledgeable and friendly. “The guides and staff were very helpful and provided excellent instructions,” said one traveler, highlighting just how much support you’ll get during your underwater adventures.
And during whale season (July to September), the vessel is one of the few permitted to swim with dwarf Minke whales—a memorable experience if you’re lucky enough to encounter them. Several reviews praise this aspect, describing it as “an unforgettable highlight” that elevates the tour beyond just snorkeling.
