Great places to visit and excellent tour guide, even thou it was practically raining all the time. Two beautiful places to visit, enjoy and take pictures.

The tour was very nice. Sentinel and a Ronda was interesting especially because of all the history. Ronda has beautiful mountains all around and the people were very friendly. The only complaint I have is the bus that transported us. It is full bus of passengers, however from the start of the morning till the end of the tour day, the A/C didn’t wok. Very hot on the bus especially when the sun is shinning through the windows, even when the curtains are closed. The bus also shakes and makes noises as if it is falling apart. We have been about in Spain for a month and all of the rest of the tours have newer Mercedez buses with comfortable riding, A/C and charging ports. This one is an older b…

Both are beautiful places. Vanessa was great She even did the tour in Spanish, English and French. The tour was excellent and we were back in Malaga by 4.30pm

A visit to Ronda and Setenil is a good activity to do when visiting Spain. Both are charming villages with lots of history. We paid the extra amount for a guided tour, and that’s the part that was disappointing. Our tour guide was not well-equipped to provide a good tour experience for the group size we had. He was difficult to hear; especially with the number people and noise in the areas we visited, which he said was a normal crowd in Ronda. The tour should require these guides to provide earpieces so that we can actually hear the information they are sharing.
Maira L
Beautiful cities and great guide. Just a bit confusing at the pickup meeting point. But overall was a awesome experience.

A few reviews note that the guide’s knowledge in Setenil could be improved, with some travelers having to navigate the town on their own. Still, many appreciate the opportunity to explore independently during this period.

Transition to Ronda

After Setenil, the group heads to Ronda, a journey of around 30 minutes. Here, the focus shifts to the spectacular views and iconic sites. Ronda is perched above a deep gorge called El Tajo, which you’ll see from various vantage points.

Ronda’s Main Attractions

You’ll cross the famous Old Bridge (Puente Nuevo), which offers some of the best photo ops of the town’s dramatic landscape. From there, you’ll visit the Plaza de Toros, one of Spain’s oldest bullrings. The tour includes entry to the Bullfighting Museum and the arena itself, where you can learn about the history and cultural significance of bullfighting in Spain.

Many reviews highlight how the guide’s explanations are engaging and informative, helping visitors appreciate the depth of Ronda’s history. The views from the Puente Nuevo and the surrounding viewpoints often draw praise as well, with travelers describing them as “breathtaking” or “jaw-dropping.”

We enjoyed out tour very much! Our tour guide Olivier was excellent and made the bus ride entertaining and interesting. When we arrived at Ronda, the tourguide, Cristobal, was equally knowledgeable.
Bonnie P
The tour was Ok but not wow! I felt confused by the tour co info on timing. First they said 11 hour day. Then it was back by 6:00 pm. But we got back at 4:00. Our guide in Ronda was very good but the company did provide earphones so hard to hear.
Jesus M
Good tour, good tour guy and beautiful places to visit. Ronda is a beautiful place to visit & admire the beautiful landscape.

However, it’s important to note that on Tuesdays, tickets to the bullring aren’t included, so if you’re visiting on that day, you might want to buy tickets separately or adjust expectations accordingly.

The guide gave us really no direction when you arrived to Setenil. Other groups were directed by their guides, and the guides had microphones that luckily we were able to overhear. The guide in Ronda needed a microphone as well, and the bus was so hot a girl over heated. The conditions on the return were unbearable. Overall, the cities were beautiful.
Rick D
Was very nice experience , great Tour guides, and, very professional, and many kind people . City very beautiful, charming

In general, both tours went ok and safe. However, in Cibeles de Bodega, the tour guide was not well trained. We had to find our own way to see the area. He did not know the area completely. In Ronda. Antonio (local tour guide) was very knowledgeable, however we did not received the vouchers to visit the bull coliseum and the museum, which was included in the tour price. We have to paid out of pocket for additional tickets.

What Could Be Better?

  • Crowded groups and transportation: The bus can be packed, and some travelers have trouble hearing the guides, especially without microphones.
  • Limited time in each town: The schedule is quite tight, and some wish for longer exploration, particularly at Setenil.
  • Weather dependence: The experience is best in good weather; rain can make the day less pleasant, as noted by some visitors.
  • Tuesday restrictions: No tickets to the bullring or museum on Tuesdays, which could disappoint those eager to see inside.

Information about free time (duration) in both locations. Be prepared to spend more time at La Ronda that you might want (unless you take time for a leisurely lunch).

Would have given this tour 5 stars but for the steady rain all day. The guides were excellent. Setenil is definitely worth the stop, and Ronda is beautiful with some jaw dropping views. Would have loved to see it on a sunny day
