Loved this tour, Mustafa was a pleasure to be our driver on these dirt roads and showed the fact that he could handle them safely. The other gentleman was very friendly but highly inappropriate towards the women and was even smacking there bottoms at points which is not suitable for a tour. Lunch – didn't cater to my allergies but based on the fact its last minute this wasn't much of a issue. Loved the tour itself though

Had a fantastic fun day out which both my partner & I thoroughly enjoyed. He swam in the fresh water waterfalls & loved the experience, much too cold for me though. Visiting the caves, fruit garden, little bizarre & lunch by the river were also very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend 👌

The Itinerary Explained: What You Can Expect

This tour is designed to give you a solid taste of the natural beauty around Alanya, with two main stops, each offering its own unique charm. Here’s what you’ll experience along the way.

Departure and Pickup

Starting at 9:00 am, most travelers are picked up from their hotels in Alanya. The journey into the Taurus Mountains takes about an hour, which is just enough time to marvel at the changing scenery and get excited about what’s ahead. The transportation is in an air-conditioned vehicle, and with a maximum group size of 48, it’s not overly crowded, making for a comfortable ride.

First Stop: Sapadere Kanyonu (Canyon)

The highlight of the tour, Sapadere Canyon, is a natural wonder that impresses with its sheer cliffs, lush greenery, and waterfalls. Once there, you’ll have around three hours to explore.

Guided walks along the boardwalks reveal the canyon’s dramatic geology. You might feel like you’re stepping into a postcard, with crystal-clear waters cascading over rocks, and the sound of rushing waterfalls all around.

According to reviews, the guides are both fun and informative, offering insights into the area’s geology and history. As one traveler put it, “Nice and funny guides. A lot of beautiful spots to see.”

What a fantastic day out! This tour was packed with stunning waterfalls, fascinating caves, and amazing scenic spots — all really well organised. The energy from our driver kept the whole group buzzing, and the playful water fight between the vehicles was a hilarious highlight! Lunch was tasty and well-timed, and every stop felt exciting and worthwhile. The only downside was the white-knuckle driving style — especially on narrow mountain roads with two vehicles riding side by side. It felt a bit unsafe at times, but overall, the experience was still absolutely worth it. A thrilling, fun-filled day I won’t forget anytime soon!

What a day to experience some of the natural beauty which Alanya has to offer. Pickup spot on time, and the drive up into the mountains was amazing exciting. The Sapadere Canyon was awesome plus we had fantastic weather and very few people around making it so relaxing. The only downside was that we drove nearly all the way back to Alanya for lunch, that was over an hour’s drive. Pity we couldn’t have had lunch closer to the canyon

You’ll have the chance to take photos, enjoy the cool water (if you want to dip your toes or swim), and soak up the scenery. Keep in mind, the waterfalls, while stunning, tend to be popular and can be quite busy, so it’s worth arriving early or being prepared for some crowds.

Cave Visit (Optional)

Some tour options include entrance fees to nearby caves, which many travelers find worth the small extra cost. If you’re into exploring underground formations, this could add an interesting layer to your canyon visit.

Here's some more things to do in Alanya

Lunch by the Dimcay River

After your canyon adventure, you'll head to a restaurant by the Dimcay River for a delicious Turkish lunch. The meal typically includes local dishes, and reviews mention the food was quite good, with some saying it was “very good” and “nice.” It’s a nice way to relax and refuel before heading home.

However, a few reviews noted that vegetarian options might be limited, so if you have specific dietary preferences, it’s worth considering. The restaurant’s riverside setting adds to the experience, giving you a peaceful backdrop after a busy morning.

Return and Drop-off

Post-lunch, the trip winds down with a scenic drive back to your hotel, arriving in the early afternoon or late morning, depending on the timing and group size.

A Few Caveats to Keep in Mind

If you're seeking complete tranquility, this might not be your ideal spot.
