Georgi met us at a metro station and took us to their nearby 8th floor apartment to meet his Mum Nadya. A lovely time was had having yoghurt with toppings, honey, fig jam, cakes, homemade tea, Aryan and red wine. Georgi, who is wise beyond his years, not only shared with us how his Mum, who makes the yoghurt, is aware the Bulgarian climate produces a unique Lactobacillus Bulgaricus bacterium that makes the distinctive Bulgarian yoghurt but also the complexities of his ancient languages school programme, and Nadya kindly took us to a nearby Japanese Garden with black swans, white peacocks and ducks. All in all a heart warming experience.
