Giorgi was an engaging and informative guide. He was edgy, honest, and professional. We really love how this experience combines my love of culture with my spouses love of international food traditions. Our guide was really open to any questions even about potentially sensitive subjects such as Soviet experience and modern geopolitics. We especially enjoyed his personal stories such as his family’s experiences: they really humanize the stories on tour. The dumplings were our favourite tasting! Incredibly tasty but you also learn about the traditions regarding this traditional food and the “rules” about eating them. We also loved the end of experience which leaves you with a glass of wi…

We paid for a private tour and had Camilla and she was an absolute gem. Very friendly, kind, patient, and accommodating. We enjoy walking so were glad it helped acquaint us with the city better, which allowed us to be more comfortable on our own after. The food was lovely. There were protests the night before which meant there were a couple things we weren't able to see the following the morning, but were grateful she was considerate enough to do alternate routes just to be on the safer side. Would recommend the tour company!

George was really knowledgeable and spoke perfect English, it was a fun tour and we saw plenty of the city centre. Because we started in the evening, the Dry Bridge Market was already closed. There aren't as many food stops as we've had on food tours elsewhere, this is more of a food+walking tour combo. But the portions when you do stop somewhere are really big, so you won't go hungry!

Exploring the Old City

Your guide will lead you through the enchanting streets of Tbilisi’s Old Town, an area full of winding alleys, historic architecture, and scenic views. Expect to walk past landmarks like the iconic Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi, and pause to admire the Bridge of Peace, a modern architectural marvel over the Kura River.

Many reviews highlight the guide's storytelling—sharing stories behind the landmarks and giving context to the city's layered past. The walking pace is manageable, and there are plenty of photo stops at picturesque spots like Dedaena Park, the Presidential Palace (which you’ll pass by), and the Rike Park.
