This trip was amazing and not to be missed. It was so good to see more of the area and get out to explore a little more. Lovely little surprises too which are worth seeing. Ozzie was so informative and interesting to listen to. This was a great way to end our holiday.

This was perfect for family with small kids. Car seats provided, lots of space in car, lots of stops to take pictures and break up the journey and the stop at Vilaflor has a playpark! 4 hours total so can do something else in afternoon and kids not bored! Ozzi was great good with kids and lot of info.

Excellent trip. Stunning scenery. Extremely informative tour guide. Would highly recommend. Don’t forget your camera!

Next, you’ll visit El Pino Gordo, where the oldest and thickest pine in Tenerife stands. It’s a brief stop but packed with character, giving you a taste of Tenerife’s flora and history. Many reviewers appreciated the opportunity to see this natural giant up close.

From there, the trip continues to Mirador de Boca Tauce, offering expansive views of the lava landscape stretching beneath Mount Teide. It’s a spectacular look at the raw power of volcanic activity, and the scenery here really sticks in your mind.

The highlight for many is the Paradores Cañadas del Teide, home to the famed Roques de Garcia. This is the most visited spot in the park and offers iconic photo opportunities of jagged rock formations set against volcanic plains. The 45-minute stop is enough time to snap photos and soak it all in, though some reviews suggest that additional time here would make for a more relaxed experience.

Moving on, you’ll stop at Mirador de las Narices del Teide to view the craters of Pico Viejo from the eruption in 1798. It’s a chance to see volcanic craters up close and learn about the island’s fiery past. Reviewers often mention how informative and engaging the guides are, making the volcanic history come alive.

A fantastic trip. Ozzie was a very knowledgeable guide who gave us a very interesting trip in the National park. Our two children enjoyed finding out about the volcanoes and spotting geckos. Just long enough to maintain their attention. Time in most stops was just right, but we would've liked 30 minutes in Vilaflor rather than 15 minutes because it was so beautiful. The lovely lady in the pastry shop kept us tasting pastries and wine and we didn't have a time to fully appreciate the village. Throughly recommend at an affordable price for a small group tour. Thank you Ozzie.

Ozzy's tour to Teide Natural Park was an absolute delight! His extensive knowledge of the area's volcanic rocks and history truly enriched our experience. Not only is he multilingual, but his sense of humor made the journey even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was Ozzy's calm demeanor and eagerness to share valuable tips about Tenerife. Although we didn't attend Ozzy's star gazing tour, his vivid description of it piqued our interest, demonstrating his profound knowledge of geological subjects. His enthusiasm for sharing such fascinating insights convinced us that it's a must-try experience for our next visit to Tenerife. We highly recommend touring with Ozzy to anyone visiting Tener…

Nice trip with friendly and knowledgable guide. Good for a first time visit to the national park as we got to see a variety of landscapes and the major highlights.

Lastly, Mirador de los Poleos offers sweeping views of neighboring islands like La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro. This spot highlights Tenerife’s position within the Canary Islands and provides excellent photo opportunities of volcanic landscapes and distant islands.

What Travelers Say

Many reviews love how knowledgeable and friendly the guides are, with some mentioning their multilingual skills and humorous storytelling. One traveler said, “Ozzi was a fun and knowledge host,” which reflects the warm, engaging style of the guides. Reviewers also appreciate the stunning scenery and the variety of landscapes, from lush forests to volcanic deserts.

Importantly, several reviews highlight the value for money, noting that the price offers a lot of scenic stops, interesting facts, and the convenience of hotel pickup. The small group size is often praised, as it allows for a more personalized experience and easier photo stops.

A Few Downsides

One review pointed out an issue with pick-up arrangements, where a traveler was asked to reach a meeting point due to traffic, and later expressed frustration over the additional taxi costs.

Torben R
The guide did a very good job, telling a lot about Tenerife and the area we were in. It would have been 5 stars if the car had been larger and more suitable for the purpose.

Picked up at 9 and were a group of 8. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We travelled up Mount Teide stopping regularly at points of interest and great views. The trip was great and enhanced by the personal experience. Our driver spoke multiple languages enabling everybody to have a great day. We were back at our hotel by 1:00. I would recommend this trip for couples as well as families as we had a lovely day.
Estelle P
Great experience!! Great van with airco, great context given by Ozzie, great storytelling, the experience was well organized, great timings. Would recommend to anyone, without a doubt 👏👏

The tour provider clarified that they don’t offer pickups from every location, especially far-flung areas, and that the traveler’s hotel wasn’t included in the pickup zone. This highlights the importance of checking the pickup details carefully before booking.

Another aspect some might find limiting is the cable car, which is not included. If you’re hoping to take the cable car to Mount Teide’s summit, you’ll need to arrange that separately.

We completed this tour when we visited Tenerife in May. Having never been before, we wanted to explore as much of the island as possible and we felt this tour was a great start to our holiday. We were in a small, comfortable, air conditioned vehicle, with a mixture of different travellers. Our tour guide was lovely – clearly very knowledgeable and made us all feel welcome. We stopped during our journey up to Teide at a small village, where we were able to visit a local shop for drinks and ice cream if we wanted before heading up and stopping at various points, where our guide filled us in on some of the history of the area and gave us chance to take some stunning photos.
