Amazing guide and amazing driver ! Tracy and Linda are the best
Lynne
Trip was amazing and our guide vielda was informative and a lovely girl and linda our driver was welcoming too. The vikings village was great and the guide there was really interesting and funny. We had a go at axe throwing and archery too. The fjord cruise was beautiful with stunning scenery. Thr only thing i would say about cruise, is there were no safety announcements and we would have liked some commentary along the way. We sailed to the Flamm Railway and had a lovely trip on an old train through the mountains, which looked beautiful. I would recommend the trip but at £260 each it is expensive!

On the downside, the day is packed and can feel a bit tight, especially with several stops and transit times. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, some parts might feel rushed.

This tour is best suited for travelers who want an efficient but comprehensive snapshot of Norway’s natural splendor and cultural heritage. If you’re comfortable with a full day of travel and want to see the highlights without missing out, this could be a perfect fit.

Our guide Michael was very accommodating and knowledgeable about every place we went to. He made the trip as fun and informative as possible. Best part was the cruise! The fjords are breathtaking. Viking village was fun as well as the train ride. Even the bus ride was beautiful and our driver Linda was very good as well. It was not crowded so we had enough time for ourselves and room in the bus. I only felt this tour was pricey compared to other tours I saw because this was not my first choice. Probably because of the weather my other bookings were cancelled so I had to go for this since it’s the only one available. I am just thankful it did not disappoint. Over all it was a good experienc…

Michael was energetic, introducing himself as a coffee lover and funny person. Throughout the tour, he told us about various things from the history of Voss to Norway's oil and gas industry. We were lucky to have Michael with us during the Flam train ride to let us know which side the views would be on. Overall, Michael made this trip fun and energetic, and big thanks to Linda as well for driving us all around.

This was the highlight of my trip to Bergen, Norway. The tour first appealed to me as its a great way of seeing what Norway has to offer over the course of a 1 day tour. You will be out for the while day exploring, a full 12 hours in fact, but it is so worth it. Our tour guide Maria was so friendly and informative with facts and history. She also let you do your own thing at various moments throughout the day. At every point, she lets you how much time you have and where to meet before moving on to the next part of the tour. They also had a printed itinerary for you. The tour itself was totally breathtaking. For the start of December, winter daylight is against you, so the tour moves fast. Y…

Expect plenty of perfect photo moments. As one reviewer shared, “The fjords were beautiful, and the boat was modern and comfortable.”

Michael was an excellent guide along with Tommy our expert driver. Loved the smooth bus ride to our ferry destination and the journey back to Bergen in our very comfortable and modern coach. Michael was entertaining as well as knowledgeable and made the whole experience one that I will long remember. Our visit to the Viking Village was certainly very worthwhile and the guide at the village gave us an excellent introduction to this important part of Norse culture. The trip was fabulous. Our driver Linda was excellent, friendly, and professional. Michael our guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and so informative (in English and Spanish). A great way to get a taste of the region around Bergen!

The Flåm Railway trip is equally acclaimed. The photos of waterfalls like Kjosfossen and the winding tracks through mountains are worth every penny. Travelers often mention how this train ride has been named among the most beautiful in the world, and it lives up to that reputation.

The Viking Village offers a tangible connection to Norway’s past. The fact that guides are enthusiastic and friendly makes a significant difference—many reviews highlight how engaging and informative the guides are, with some describing them as “infectiously energetic.” The Viking experience is a bit short, but the authenticity and interactive elements give it a special edge.

Practical Considerations

Given the length and packed itinerary, this trip is best suited for travelers who enjoy being on the move and seeing a lot in one day. It’s a full schedule, and the transit times add up, so patience and good shoes are key. If you’re prone to motion sickness, the winding mountain roads and train tracks might be worth considering.

The tour is not ideal for those with mobility impairments, as some stops involve walking or standing. Weather can also influence the experience, especially in colder months when routes or photo stops might be adjusted.
